Leica HISTOEMBEDDER You're bidding on a Leica Histoembedder Tissue Embedding System! The Leica Histoembedder is a tissue embedding center that combines a hot plate. Paraffin dispenser, and cold plate in a single, integrated system. This unit is microprocessor controlled and features separately heated paraffin tank, mold tray, cassette bath, and work surface, all of which can be individually programmed for temperature. The cold plate and each heated element can also be turned on or off separately, and the flow rate of the pump-controlled paraffin dispenser is adjustable in 10 increments. The unit has a 7 day, 24 hour timer that can be programmed to automatically turn on and off at specific times and days, allowing to be warmed up in and ready for use during scheduled work hours without user intervention. The unit also features a heated ... moreforceps holder, integrated illumination for the dispenser, and a removable paraffin collecting tray underneath the work surface. This system was recently decommissioned from a university research lab and it is in excellent condition. It has been disassembled. Inspected, cleaned, and thoroughly tested. Leica Bond-III- Laboratory IHC and ISH Slide Staining Instrument- For parts. This Bond-III is being sold for parts or repair. Cosmetically it is in good condition. It looks very clean and has very few scratches or scuffs. The unit was plugged into both a 220V and 110V source and would not power on at all. Initially it sounded as if fans were powering on. But upon opening the machine up, that could not be verified. It looks as though something may be missing behind the back panel of the unit. The pictures show the inside of the unit, however I am not familiar enough with these devices to be able to determine that conclusively.
