This is a knight-kit RF Sweep Generator with the original manual that was used to build it. One of the photos shows the specifications/capabilities of the device. I have turned it on and the indicator light glows. And the oscillation output increases when the megacycle values are increase. Presumably, with the manual, you could troubleshoot and repair it if it is not fully functional. The unit is clean and shows signs of wear but not abuse. All the knobs are intact and the sweep indicator works mechanically. Two cables are included but I think a resistor is missing from one and the screw-on terminal end from the other. This is a kit-built Knight RF Signal Generator with the original manual that was used to build it. One of the photos shows the specifications/capabilities of the device. I have turned it on and the indicator light glows. But I do not know if it works. Presumably, with the manual, you could troubleshoot and repair it if it is not fully functional. The unit is clean, shows signs of wear but not abuse, and has several corrosion spots on the bottom. All the knobs are intact and the sweep indicator works mechanically.

This is a Feiler TS-3A Signal Tracer. They labeled it an Electronic“Stethoscope” This signal tracer can be used for AF and RF signals. There is a tube detector built into the probe for RF signals. This signal tracer is very useful to trace signals in old radios. It came from a radio tv shop that was closing its doors for retirement. I would say it is a working unit. It powers up and makes the sound that signal tracers makes. No further testing was done. Due to the age of this unit. It is being sold as is. Unit weighs 12.90 lbs. Marconi Instruments TF1246 40KHz-50MHz Signal Generator (Vintage)
This vintage Marconi Instruments TF1246 40KHz-50MHz Signal Generator(only in this auction) was originally part of a two-unit Q-Meter made by Marconi in the early 1960's. I do not have the mate(TF1245) This signal generator can stand alone; and is partially operational. It has eight(8) mechanically selected frequency bands. Four(4) of the bands are working. As I sell it. Four(4) bands are not working. The reason the bands are not working. I believe, is the coils(inductors) associated with the three lower bands are broken. They might be repaired, but the wires in the specific inductors get really small as the band-select is lowered in frequency. Frequency bands A-B-C-G do not work. Bands D-E-F-H work. Band H works but with low amplitude. Band G might not have and inductor(L) problem. This HEAVY(27 pounds) unit is truly a Rube-Goldberg. ... moreWork of art, inside. The massive band-select switch is connected to a huge fly-wheel type apparatus that has all 8 bands' worth of capacitors and inductors mounted to it. All eight of these L-C combinations are all rotated together, simultaneously, with only the one pair of L-C needed for the requisite band selected at any one time. It makes an interesting show-case for early 1960's test gear. In itself. It can be restored, I would think, for someone wishing to take the effort and time. Here's a very nice example of this Heathkit signal tracer. You rarely see one that looks this nice. no cracks or damage to the cabinet. You see a little brown spot on the lower front edge that is some sort of paint drop near as I can tell. But I didn't want to try to get it off for fear of damaging the plastic. Bliley Model 1A Crystal Controlled Oscillator Calibrator for Vintage Ham Radio
You are bidding on a vintage Bliley model 1A crystal controlled oscillator for radio servicing. Here's one of the handiest little pieces of service equipment for ham radio and vintage radio repair: A Bliley 1A crystal controlled oscillator. The large front dial selects an internal crystal at 175KHz. 200KHz, 262KHz, 370KHz, 455KHz, 465KHz, or 1000KHz. The selected frequency is then available as output, either as pure RF, modulated RF, or externally modulated RF. There's even a socket for an external crystal so you can add your own chosen crystal controlled frequency. Output level is controlled by a range switch and a continuously variable potentiometer. This instrument is very useful for aligning radios and calibrating oscilloscopes or other signal generators. This particular 1A is working on all ranges except as noted below. Photos ... more2 through 6 show the oscillator on the 175KHz. 200KHz, 370KHz, 455KHz, and 465KHz ranges. Output frequency was nearly perfect as shown on my General Radio frequency meter(not included in this auction) I also tested the external jack with a 455KHz crystal and that worked properly too. There are two issues with this 1A: First. The 262KHz crystal is apparently damaged, because on that range the instrument did not produce a consistent frequency. Second. At some point someone replaced the internal 1000KHz crystal with a 100KHz crystal and put a piece of tape over the last zero on the 1000KHz marking. The instrument works properly on that setting, producing 100KHz(see last photo) All of the crystals in a 1A are plug-in types except for the 1000KHz position. So if you need the 262KHz frequency it's just a matter of plugging in a new 262KHz crystal. The 1000KHz crystal is soldered in. So you can either leave that position at 100KHz if that's more useful than 1000KHz for you or replace the 100KHz modification with the correct 1000KHz crystal. It's not rocket science. Here we have a Vintage U.S. Army TS-497B/URR Signal Corps Generator Because I am not sure how to use it my testing is limited. It powers up and I have displayed it in the photos switched on and Off. as you can see as I turned the knobs needles started to move. The large knob just requires an Allen key( hex Key) to tighten the grub screw on the stork. the dial moves just need tightening on. Please see pictures for cosmetic condition Because I have no idea what it does or how to use it I can only confirm it powers up and stuff happens to the needles when I turn them. Vintage Signal Tracer, model CA 10 with unusual wooden probe
Here is an odd sort of signal tracer of unknown age and manufacture. Showing only as model CA 10. It features a wooden probe, intended, I assume, to reduce shock potential and minimize spurious noise from the user's hand, as well as headphone and neon bulb monitoring of the signal. It's housed in a fine box with a good cover, solid hinges, and a working front latch. The tracer measures about 6.5" W x 4" H x 6" D and weighs about 2 lbs. unpacked. It will be safely packed and quickly sent by FedEx Ground. I charge only the expected shipping cost with insurance. This is truly a technological work of art! This Weston audio generator is probably from the 1930s. It has one tube. A#32 tetrode, and operates off two(2) batteries. The construction is superb! The variable capacitor is made by Hamerlund in New York, the tube is an RCA/ Cuningham and the capacitors are Sprague. The filament variable resistor is very unique. It has the wiper connection on a spiral, flexible lead, that uncoils when you rotate it. The attenuator is encased in a heavy metal shield, the same metal that holds the high voltage battery compartment for the anode voltage. The filament battery holder does not have corrosion, as does the contacts. The outside case is near perfect light black wrinkle finish- even the felt feet are excellent! The phenolic front panel shows signs of being well used, and there are only(2) screws left to hold ... moreit to the case. Here is an operational EICO RF Generator in really good condition. There are some scuffs and scratches but the unit works well. With an oscilloscope attached to the output. All frequency bands work and the frequency is quite close. The internal audio oscillator(400 Hz) also works good and modulates the RF output. An RF output cable in included with the unit.
