This edger cuts plastic. Polycarbonate, hi index and trivex lenses. It was the edger I used until I closed by business 4-30-2013. You need to connect the water source directly to a water source and have a return drain for the exiting water. For polycarbonate and trivex I controlled the water shut off manually. The scanner works well with its adjustable frame plane for accurate positioning. The pattern from the scanner is brought to the edger electronically. This machine powers on but does not work properly. The screen works and the buttons underneath the screen work. The machine shows signs of heavy use. There are scratches/scuffs over the entire machine. The inside is also dirty from use. You have to have a voltage stabalizer to use this machine. There is not one included. I used a voltage stabalizer from another Coburn unit to test this machine. It is a Claude Lyons Limited brand voltage stabalizer. Model: TS-2.5C"S" I showed a picture of the tag for reference(last photo) Again, this voltage stabalizer is not included. This machine consists of the Gerber Coburn main unit. Computer, keyboard, and pull out drawer with several servos. These are the the contents of the servo drawer: Yaskawa Servopack; model: SGDB-15ADGY113 Yaskawa Servopack; model: SGDA-04AS Kollmorgen Servostar CD; facctory p/n: PRD-B040EAIZ-63. Rev.E. Hello and thank you for checking out my auction! This one is for a Santinelli 9000 LX pattern-less edger. This edger is infamously known as a workhorse. And would make for an excellent upgrade, additional edger, or a first time user purchase. This edger can cut all materials except glass, and polishes to a super fine luster every time. The machine has a total of just over 30,326 cuts on it(showing 30,340 internally) and is in excellent conditon. The edger is still in use and the cut count may increase by about another hundred lenses. The motor sounds strong, and I've tested over 200 pairs of glasses on it without any issues regarding axis, cut size, or bevel placement. The casing is in great shape.
