Description: For sale is a beautiful Gaggia GX Lever Machine. Standard 120V 15A. It features a combination of red panels with chromed and brushed stainless steel finish on the outer panels. Our objective in every renovation is it bring a machine back to the way it was functioning when it left the factory. This Gaggia has been stripped down to the frame and every component has been carefully serviced. All other non-serviceable parts have been replaced- gaskets. O-rings, seals, safety valves, etc. Boiler. Tubes, valves and other various components susceptible to hard-water buildup were fully descaled. The internal frame was sandblasted and any trace of rust has been treated before being repainted. You will see that the entire group assembly has been fully rebuilt. The lower group assembly has also been professionally re-chromed to bring back ... moreit's original luster. We paid special attention to the lever mechanism and the piston assembly to ensure they would function flawlessly for years. There are some dings here and there on the panels but it is in very good condition for its age. Up for auction is a vintage Rancilio espresso machine. When I got it. It had been sitting around for some time. I had it professionally restored. It took six months and a significant investment. A lot was replaced: a new heating element. Pump motor; pump head, solenoids, gaskets, gauges, switches, portafilters, and much more(I have the full list and invoice) The machine is now working great. So why am I selling it? I got it home last week. My goal was to surprise my wife with it. We met in Rome and used to frequent a caffe with this exact model machine. I accomplished the goal in that she was surprised. But not pleasantly surprised. Let's just say that she didn't share in my nostalgia. I was told that it is simply too big for our little beach bungalow, so here it is. Details: It is a two group with a"bulk brewer" the chrome ... moreand glass contraption on the right of the group heads) I did not have the"bulk brewer" restored to working order. From my understanding. It operated essentially like a percolator. I never planned to use it, so aside from cleaning it up a bit, I left it as is. Now it is just for show or storage. I had the machine restored to put in my home. I wanted to keep the patina on the brass and copper. There are some scratches; the brass plat ing sh ows s ome wear; and there is a small dent on the dome. T o me. I t all adds to the character and charm of this nearly 40 year old work of art. There is a lot of intricate attention to detail in the decoration around the entire machine. It is 40" wide x 22" deep x 42" tall(including eagle and dome) It would be a tremendous addition to a bar. This listing is for a Pasquini Livia 90S Espresso Machine. This is a high quality espresso maker with many commercial machine features. It is in very good condition and has been well cared for yet it does show signs of wear like the water tank is discolored from the heat of the boiler. I do not have the portafliter for the unit. So you will need to have or purchase one separately to use the machine. Plenty of 58mm cofmmercial used ones on eBay. I have had many commercial machines in my house. Those machines had a direct plumbed water connection with 3 liter boilers. If you are thinking this machine will make continuous espresso like a commercial machine you are mistaken. When the boiler calls for water you will see a drop in the boiler pressure and the heating element kicks on and it will come back up to temp. Then again if you only make ... morea few coffees a day this machine will be to your liking as a commercial machine with large boiler takes alot of energy to heat it and puts out alot of heat as well. This is a pour over design that does not require a water connection. Therefore the tradeoff is you get a high quality Italian made machine that runs on 120V and does not require a water connection with expensive water treatment. I just did a descaling of the tank and water system with food grade anhydrous citric acid and the water is clean and the unit is fully operational. When turned on the water pump will come on to top off the boiler, the pressure relief valve will spit like all Italian manchines do until the water pressure builds up, the boiler pressure comes to rest at the top of the green on the gauge and water pumps out of the group head when dispensed. I have removed as much water from the boiler by shutting down the machine and then opening the hot water dispenser. So when you turn it on for the first time the water pump will run for awhile. Compact A1 commerical espresso machine(1 group) fully automatic espression Machine- I loved it but it was part of a"chick" shop- gift baskets, gifts, rubber stamping shop and although I had a following- it was never enough to support itself. I closed the business in 2003 and have had it in my home- the idea was, we'd have the bitchinest espresso in-home- however, we found we never really used it. We are now redoing our kitchen and it is time for it to leave the next. It can be used either with pods(that I go through ABCD Coffee in Conshohocken, PA- also where I purchased the machine) or it can be used with freshly ground coffee- it has both porta-filters. I also has the frother wand and automatic frother attached. This machine is designed with a small footprint ... moreand runs on 120V power. I loved this machine. You can program this to do cappuccinomatic and set it for different timed pulls- or you can do it yourself. I do believe I know where the manual is and will include that as well. Ill start with what I know about the machine then go on to what I found online. The TEST. Ok I plugged it in(no water) toggled the switch on the right. nothing) then the switch on the left and both switched turned on and the light went green. The machine sounded like a pump came on then the right switched turned off and the light turned orange. From what I can guess that means theres no water. OK no brainer. Now for the rest of the machine. The outside is fairly good actually with this cool gold colored chrome finish to the body and the rest is stainless steel. It is missing the panel on the top. One knob and the coffee handle as you can clearly see. The inside is a little dirty but overall not that bad. Minimal rust for a 30 year old machine and it looks like it was kept up fairly well. Water tank looks good. Pressure tank looks ok as well ... morebut obviously is not tested by me. All hose/fittings look ok to me. What I found online. The machine was produced in the late 80's to early 90's. I think this one is a 1992) and was replaced by the Mini Nova machine.
