This is a 12 piece optics or lens set salvaged from overhead projectors and related equipment. There are six lenses of the same diameter size. 3 1/2 inches. They are convex/concave also known as the negative meniscus type. There are six double convex or biconvex lenses with the size diameters being one 1 3/4" one 2 1/2" I believe this one to be plastic) two 3 3/4" and one 4 7/8" These biconvex lenses have different curvatures on each side. The last lens is 2 5/16" diameter and is a planoconvex. All of these optics are used and will have a scratch or two here and there on them. This listing is for a welded stainless steel fly cage or breeding box in excellent condition. Two access openings. One on each end, allow manipulation with both hands. Glass widow/door on hinges opens easily and closes with a spring loaded clip and foam gasket. The hinges were thoughtlessly made of chrome plated steel and show some rust/pitting. A well designed, well made enclosure/ viewing chamber for a variety of insects, flying or crawling and the inlet/outlet tube allows for CO2 anesthesia when necessary. Enclosure measures 14" x 12" x 8" with two 6" flanged access openings for holding cloth barriers. One 2" x 3" opening with sliding door and one 0.25" ID tube inlet/outlet for venting or gas delivery.
