For auction is a used. Working HP 5335A Universal Counter with Options 010, 030 and HP-IB interface. The unit is in good physical condition other than the corner of one of the push buttons that accidentally touched by a soldering iron. I have replaced the original cooling fan(which is fairly noisy) with a quieter fan in 2009 that works on a lower voltage(12 volts) I built a small voltage regulator board to step down the voltage supplying the original fan and the perf board sits in an unused slots inside the counter. The new fan is much quieter and makes it tolerable to work near it for a long period of time. The new fan hasn't had any problem with the machine overheating. I will include the original fan in this auction(see photo) Option 010 is a high stability(HP 10811) ovenized crystal oscillator and it has been calibrated against an ... more10-MHz GPS-disciplined oscillator(one of the photos show a comparison with another counter(HP 53131A) connected to the same 10MHz source.
