I have tested it and it seems to work fine as I have made various measurements and comparisons and it seems to be accurate(although there is a calibration procedure you can follow in the manual that you can do yourself) I also loaded the software and tested it as well and it communicates with a computer(using the supplied software and RS-232 cable) The clear plastic display cover has some scratches and nicks from field use and the wire probe that it comes with looks as though it has never been opened. The additional probe you see does not come with this kit normally and is an accessory. The Celsius bulb on that thermometer is broken off, and there is a crack in the cast metal retainer holding the handle in place. The handle works just fine with the crack and I believe that the Celsius thermometer is still available for replacement.
