Baker 5000 lb Pneumatic 6 cyl. LP Gas Forklift with Sideshift
For sale is a 5000 lb. Baker LP Gas Forklift. Forklift is powered by an in-line continental 6 cylinder gas engine unlike most 5000 lb. forklifts using a in-line 4 clinder. Forklift is still in everyday service at my shop. Total hours on hour meter are 3350. Unit was totally serviced at 3318 hours. Height of roll guard is 85" height of collapsed mast is 93" width of forklift is 46" lenghth of machine from rear to front of mast is 96" 48" long forks, vertical lift of forks is 144" side shift approximatley 8" total empty weight is 8875 lbs. Transmission uses a forward and reverse shuttle, has power steering, all gauges work as shown(gas fuel gauge blanked out because of LP engine) brakes have all been replaced including shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, and any brake lines showing any evidence of rust ... moreand/or corrosion within the last year. Front drive tires are near 100% rear steer tires are 50% also has rear tow hitch pin on rear counter weight. Machine works properly as it should, starts easy, and runs smooth. There are no oil spots left below machine when parked on cement when left over the weekends, there are no known defects with this machine. This is a used machine, but can do the same work as a NEW $15000 to $25000 comparable machine. The reason machine is being sold is because I did have two 5000 lb. forklifts with 144" lifts, I have sold other 5000lb. forklift, and updated to a 6000 lb forklift with 192" lift, and also a 8000 lb. forklift with 192" lift, so I don't need the third forklift taking up room.
