Brown And Sharpe Pivoting 90 Degree V-Block(Reduced)
You are bidding on a Brown And Sharpe pivoting 90 degree v-block. It is in excellent condition. Precision ground and pivots on a cylindrical ground bottom keyed base. You can rotate it to what degree you want and lock it in position as shown in 2nd picture( a recessed allen screw in the bottom side) The third picture shows it pivoted up to the furthest degree position. The top of the V measures 2" across it and it is 1 13/16" long. This is a high precision rotating lockable v-block. What a handy item to have. Also a name brand(top of line) I can not confirm if it was ever used as its condition is excellent. There are no previous owners initials or rust or damage. There is some tarnish on it due to age. But not rust. It works freely and can read numbers easily. Not many of these around! Thanks for looking. Browne & Sharpe Magnetic Block w/ Mahogany case 5 1/4" 2 7/16" x 2 7/16" Look
Nice Brown& Sharpe Magnetic Block in pretty good shape. The magnet is still strong. In the last couple pics it's holding up a punch grinding fixture(not included, neither is the scale) Tool has 2 holes on the upper part of the sides and back for attaching rails. Not sure if the holes are tapped or not. Block does have some dents and dings but nothing excessive. Kiss the top and bottom rails on a surface grinder and your in business. Another thing to note is that the on/off switch travels freely in both directions. There isn't a stopped position, I don't know if thats how they're supposed to be or not so I figured I'd pass it on. Does not effect turning the magnet on and off. You can feel the magnet release. Block is 5 1/4" long by roughly 2 7/16" square.
