This is a model 88 Rustrak strip chart recorder. It is in a cast aluminum case which measures about 3-1/2" wide x 6" high x 4-1/2" deep. The front scale is marked 0 to 1 ma DC. A label inside indicates 1" per hour on the chart. The back plate states 115 volts 60 cycles AC input- that would be for the motor. I plugged it in and it does seem to work in advancing the paper(it goes very slowly and I did not watch it for an hour! There is some sort of input scale adapter circuit on the plug end which you may or may not use. I could not check the input or needle operation. I believe it works.
