I don't know anything about casters so I will describe them as best as I can. They are 3 5/8" long. The tip that would slide into the furniture is 5/16 wide. Each has a tred guard. I did not remove the guards. There is an extra guard. There is a little metal thingy that was in the box so I will send that with the casters. The widest side of the tred guard is 2 1/8" across. These casters were used on display carts for retail sales shows. Used only once. Decided I needed polyolefin tires rather than pneumatic rubber tires. Lot of 12 Vintage Furniture Casters; different sizes, wood, other
For your consideration. A lot of 12 vintage casters, plus a few miscellaneous related parts. Lot includes: 1) The four original wood casters from a Danner revolving bookcase. They are still in good condition. But they don't roll so good with a heavy bookcase on top of them so I replaced them. Actually, they roll ok but don't have ball bearings so they don't swivel that great. That's just the way they're built. There are no cracks in the wood, and the metal is sound. They all have a great vintage patina. Spindle is about 1.25" tall, 1/4" diameter. 2) Two wood casters with 1.5" wheel diameter. Stem size shown in the pictures; about 1.5" 3) Two smaller wood casters. Stem size is the same as the two above. But the wheels are 1" diameter. 4) Four larger casters with rubber or maybe fiber wheels. 2" ... morediameter. Good condition and the stems all have the tension ring. Stems about 1.25" tall. 5) Four stem holders that will fit the casters in sets 2 and 3. Also a single miscellaneous holder; not sure what that goes to. Items sold as-is so please feel free to ask any and all questions. Cost of postage is the actual cost and includes domestic tracking number. Payment or communication is due within 24-hours of auction end. If you need more time to pay that is fine but you must contact me and let me know.
