Set of Six Matching 2¼" BASSICK Ball Casters, Brass Wheels w. Steel Swivel Bases
This lot contains six matching heavy duty swivel wheel casters. All marked"Bassick USA" on the stem. The bases- four mounting screw holes to each one- are made of steel and the ball wheels appear to be made of brass. To make it easier to steer and navigate, they have a two-way swivel action- one half of the wheel swivels inside the other, while the whole wheel swivels against the base. Because they are made in two halves, the wheels don't form a perfect circle, but the diameter, depending on where you measure it, falls within the range of 2" and 2½" The bases are about 1½" x 1½" They all appear to be in generally good and functional condition. But they are dusty, and some of the brass surfaces have signs of serious oxydization. I don't know how old they are, but they look kind of sixties ... moreor seventies retro, don't they? LOT OF 5 BASSICK 2 1/2 INCH SWIVEL CASTER WHEELS This is a lot of 5 casters/wheels as shown in the pics.They are made by BASSICK in the USA and are all in good used condition with very little wear but do SHOW DIRT on the hard rubber wheels.All of them swivel freely and they are marked 945 on the metal sides of the frames of the wheels.The wheels are 2 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 3/4 inches wide.The metal base plate is marked 594 and measures 3 3/4 inches X 2 3/4 inches.
