It is easy to tell if you are just over or just under a line, so you can realistically measure within.001 or.002 inch. At one point the glass broke so I epoxy glued it back together and did a pretty nice job of it. I originally purchased this press in 2013 for $650 but I am a student with bills to pay and it doesn't see enough use to warrant keeping. I intended on using it for photogravure and oil print transfers but it only saw the latter. This press has seen use maybe a total of five times. mitsubishi cp50 platemaker
This is a Mitsubishi ctp50 instant platemaker It works well but is an older unit. It uses silvermaster film and chemicals. There is a good amount of ten inch wide plate material still in the machine. Everything works this was used in my dads print shop until November of 2013. He used it mostly for envelope runs of under 20000 impressions. Please feel free to ask any questions. These are getting hard to find. This is for local pickup only and is sold as is.
