The vacuum frame measures 24 inches by 28 inches and was used to burn or expose metal printing plates to a high intensity light source like an arc welder to harden the image on the plate. I am selling the press that used this platemaker so I am going to sell it as well. It has a vacuum motor on it. Suction frame and a system like an arc welder to produce high intensity light. It is working, but like I said, I no longer need it. P.S. I will deliver this platemaker after the auction for a reasonable fee and help get it into place for you. It has a useable area of approx. 23" x 18" I was able to hook up a vacuum pump and it worked fine for me. Pulled to 15" vacuum. that said I included a pic showing the rubber just starting to deteriorate a bit around the vacuum inlet. I imagine a bit of rubber cement around the diaphragm would stabilize it, but you are the expert. Also the standard size short section of hose could stand to be replaced before putting into service. The frame/glass and everything else about this is in great condition, so a bit of repair should be well worth it, overall its in great condition. I have a Quality Vakuum Products Vak-Matic veneering table set up. The table was made by a professional wood shop and the supporting framework is made from solid 8/4 lumber. It is very heavy and not easily moved. The frame is hinged on one side for easy and fast use. The poly top has 6in. gussets in corners so several sheets can be pressed at once. The inside size of frame is 54x102. The interior pressing platform is a sheet of 3/4x49x97 melamine so a full 4x8 sheet can be veneered. The pump unit is automatic and will cycle on and off as needed to hold vacuum. The pump can also be used as a clamp. This is TWO Amperex A-Frame National 6922/ E88CC Vacuum Tubes. The National 6992 was made in Japan by Matsushita. now known as Panasonic) with Mullard tooling. The exact vintage is unknown, but is believed most were produced in the late 1970's to early 1980's. These tubes sound AMAZING, especially so in the Phono Stage section of many and are far better sounding than any current production 6922 tube and are on par with the most highly regarded vintage 6992 tubes selling for hundreds of dollars. I'm the original owner and tubes screen printing is missing. But I guarantee these are genuine Amperex A-Frame 6DJ8 tubes and offer a 60-day money back return policy.

I do not know much about this type of item. It is sold as-is. This is sold as a collectors item since I do not know how to test if it works properly. It is old. Has a Century F48 electric motor 1/4 HP and 1725 rpm. Size about 11 X 7 X 7 inches and weighs about 21 pounds. Some wear and aging. Vacuum Regulator Manifold with Digital Meter in Stainless Frame
This is a ACSI digital vacuum gauge model 1200-VACU mounted in a stainless frame with a Squire Cogswell Aeros Regulator. There are hose barbs(as pictured) for hook-up. The stainless frame has a couple solid stainless bars on the bottom to keep the unit weighted and upright. I replaced the 9V battery. And the digital meter booted and I was able to zero using the zero button. No further testing was done. Removed from a decommissioned industrial facility. It is heavy with the solid stainless bars welded to the bottom.
