Glassco 5,000 psi Air Gauge
A used gauge that was mounted in an instrument panel we revamped. We had intended to re-use the gauge and even built a housing for it to be mounted on the outside of the new wall of gauges. Unfortunately we went in another direction and now have this gauge as an extra. It waw right on with the air pressure. Prior to removal, so it should be a great gauge for the buyer. The face reads 1/4% Accuracy and the face is 5 1/2" in diameter. Graduations are in 25 psi increments. There are some numbers on the back, see photo, but it is an incomplete number such as 721-5000. We will only ship to the contiguous United States.

Air Compresser Gauge 160 PSI 1/4 NPT New in Box
This is a"no name" air pressure gauge. Probably for an air compresser or something similar. The gauge reads up to 160 psi, the dial face is about 2 inches in diameter and the fitting on the back appears to be 1/4 NPT pipe thread. The gauge is new in the box and I presume that it works but I have never installed it on anything so I don't know for sure. I can't find a brand name anywhere on the box or the gauge, so I don't know the maker or where it was made. It does have the letters"bar" at the bottom of the dial face, so that may mean something. MARSH MASTER GAUGE 0-300 PSI 8" DIAMETER 1/4" MNPT BACK MOUNT
For your consideration. I have a Marsh 0-300 PSI industrial gauge(model 12106? It is a Marsh Master Gauge, this would be a calibrated gauge for reference. It is in used condition. There is a screw on the face that calibrates the needle, zeros it out. The gauge is 8" in diameter, the glass portion is 5.75" and there is a chrome plated bezel on the outside edge which comes off with the thumb screw at the bottom, the glass is held in with a rubber gasket which is not glued to the glass on this gauge(its old) The rubber seal is damaged with a small tear and is just held in by pressure between the bezel and the case(not pictured) but sticks to the chrome surface, so be care when removing the bezel. CAUTION) The thumb screw needs to be carefully aligned in order to close the bezel properly. The chrome plating is discolored between the ... more7 and 9 o'clock positions, and around the thumb screw as well, its not too bad but I'm calling it out just because. Please see picture, you can't feel it but it is noticeable and it will not buff out. Other then that the chrome is in great condition no cracks, chips or large scratches. The connection is a back mount 1/4" MNPT w/ a orifice for pressure fluctuations(keeps the needle from dancing around and damaging the workings) The threads look OK, I did test the gauge with a 120 psi compressed air and did not notice any leaks, but if you test it out to full range take some precautions. The back is a stainless steel sheet that is removed with the single screw. The 1/4" NPT and workings appear to be stainless but its not marked on the gauge and a magnet is attracted to it. This gauge is a panel mount via(3) number 10 counter sunk holes under the bezel they are 120 degree apart, typical mounting. The case is made from steel with an enamel paint(I'm assuming it is) The gauge is not for oxygen service. Please ask questions before bidding. Up for consideration is a vintage metal and glass pressure gauge. The Face reads 160 PSI and Hungerford& Terry INC Clayton New Jersey USG U.S. GAUGE 14693-1. The face of the gauge is 4.75 inches in diameter and the glass has no chips or cracks. The original brass fittings and shut off valve are attached. I tested the gauge and it still works. On the back the previous owner loosened a few of the original brass screws and put a wire under the screws so the gauge can be hung on the wall. This vintage piece is in excellent vintage condition. Its a great piece and its made in the U.S.A. I've seen other gauges similar to this one sell for several hundred dollars. Feel free to ask any questions. VINTAGE ASHCROFT MANUFACTURING COMPANY AIR PRESSURE GAUGE – 160 PSI
For today’s auction. We are featuring a vintage air pressure(or possibly steam) gauge that was manufactured by the Ashcroft Manufacturing Company out of New York. Edward H. Ashcroft of Lynn. Massachusetts bought the American rights to a French pressure guage design and founded the Ashcroft Manufacturing Company in 1852 to make pressure gauges for steam engines. The firm had offices at 87 liberty St. New York City. And also in Bridgeport. CT. Their internal- and external-spring Tabor indicators. Pressure gauges(water, pressure, atmosphere etc) counters, alarms, indicators, and pipe fitter and machinists tools for steam engines were manufactured from about 1852 to the WWI period, when the company was sold in 1912. Some of their products are still being manufactured today as the best in the field by the surviving company, Dresser Industries. ... moreOne might argue that it was people like Ashcroft who facilitated expansion of the railroads and the country's industrial might. Without a reliable means of measuring and controlling steam pressure. Locomotives, steamships, and even the humble heating boiler would never have flourished as they did. Ashcroft, though, didn't have just one feather in his cap. A few years after launching the pressure gauge, he collaborated with George W. Richardson in New York to develop a spring-loaded safety valve that still exists today as the Consolidated Safety Valve. Vintage Brass Viking 150 PSI Fire Sprinkler Air Pressure Gauge Hastings Michigan
This is a used 1973 Viking Corporation 150 PSI air pressure gauge. Writing on the face is: Listed Pressure Gauge For Fire Protection Service 233H. The gauge works. The gauge measures 3 5/8”across and 1 ¼” deep. 1/4" NPT. US Gauge Dial No. 15286. UL FM Approved. Good old item in good condition. Lens intact. Please note there is a small factory flaw in the metal glass retainer. There are small wrench marks on wrenching surface. This was removed from a sprinkler system recently.
