This one weights a little over 4 lbs! They rave about this speaker on The Gear Page and other guitar forums. I didn't personally care for the sound. But tone is subjective. Rare Art Deco Neodymium Glass Master Bowl and Sweet Bowl
These 2 bowls are made from Neodymium Glass which is one of the most unusual and fascinating types of glass you will find. It has a chemical added during manufacture that makes it sensitive to the yellow end of the light spectrum and it changes colour under different lighting conditions. The photos I have included show 4 different colours: Pale amethyst under natural sunlight, dark blue under a flash, pale blue under fluorescent light, pale pink under incandescent light, The large bowl measures 10.5 inches in diameter and 4.5 inches high; the small bowl is 6.5 inches in diameter and 3 inches high Both are quite heavy and solid for their size and are in good condition with no chips or cracks. However the large bowl has a manufacturing fault in the for, of a sort of dip in the base and some straw marks, but this does not detract from its utility ... moreor display qualities. Usually in daylight or incandescent light neodymium glass appears lavender, but it appears pale blue under fluorescent lighting. Alexandrite Glass DIVIDED DISH Neodymium Moser Steuben Heisey Fostoria L Reserve
Beautiful antique devided dish. Pictures taken in natural light and flourescent lighting to show color change. Dish is in perfect condition. It is rather larger and heavy aproximately 8" across and 1 3/4" high. Important to note, this dish has a ground pontil on bottom surface and a few minute(I mean VERY VERY SMALL air bubbles, difficult to see with magnification) Beleive it to be handblown as I can find NO mold marks. Unsure of maker, could not find a makers mark. This is a very rare and gorgious piece of art glass. Starting with a rediculously low reserve. NEVER SAW ONE LIKE THIS BEFORE IN ALL MY YEARS- RARE as a hens tooth. Other info below from my research on wikipedia Neodymium glass(Nd:glass) is produced by the inclusion of neodymium oxide(Nd2O3) in the glass melt. Usually in daylight or incandescent light neodymium glass ... moreappears lavender, but it appears pale blue under fluorescent lighting. Neodymium may be used to color glass in delicate shades ranging from pure violet through wine-red and warm gray. This is a vintage Alexandrite~Neodymium crystal glass toothpick holder measuring 1 3/4" tall x 1 5/8" 1 7/8" across the top. No labels or marks; believed to be Czech in origin. It's a lovely pinkish-lilac color that changes to a lavender blue-green under differing lighting conditions. Done in a six-sided faceted and beveled hexagon shape with a heavy base. I am not a glass expert. Just buying what I liked, but this does appear to me to be in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or bruises noted.
