Vintage Noma Bubble Lites No. 509 MIB Alligator Clips
As a boy in the late 1940's Bubble Lites were a very special part of our Christmas. Many times the tree came in to the house on the 23rd or 24th of Dec. I. My brother and sister woke up to a decorated tree! I still have our original Bubble Lite sets and will not part with them. But I was able to buy an exceptional set. Cat. No. 509, in the original box. The wiring and the bulbs are mint, it does not appear they were ever on a tree. All the bubble lights work. these are the biscuit style bulbs. Alligator clips are included(6) The original box shows minor edge wear(see photos) and there is a name pencil on the upper right corner, considering the box is 60-70 years old I would say it is in very good to excellent condition. This listing represents a WWII. GI M1 Helmet Liner leather Sweatband with green alligator clips in good condition. The leather and herringbone twill cotton sweatband is original and comes with the original green alligator clips. It is contractor marked. The green clips and green buckle are indicative of a World War II Helmet Liner sweatband. The band is adjustable and the herringbone canvas is greenish OD. C.I.B. was the maker. The contract number is legible. The leather is mostly intact. Some sections have pealed away and there are cracks where the clips are inserted. The leather is clean but dry. Crazed, and even cracked in places. The 5 of the 6 od green painted clips are present. The green clips are all present. Retain all of the WWII green paint. The clips are fabulously preserved. The LCD display has a low battery indicator. To assure that any distributed system is properly wired and presenting the correct impedance to the amplifier(s) the installer has the choice of reading the impedance in ohms or the calculated watts that the system should draw.
