It measures 11 3/8 inches by 8 inches and it was sold weekly to youngsters keen on reading exciting adventure stories. Being published between 1928 and 1936. Original Mid 1960s Vietnam War Era US Naval Academy His& Hers Alumni Windbreakers Impossible to Find. Don't Miss this One. In Size Extra Large(see dimensions below) Very rare US Naval Academy 1960s memorabilia. his and hers Naval Academy Alumni windbreaker jackets. Each jacket features very large sewn-on. Naval Academy Alumni insignia patch on the back. The fronts are embroidered with the names"Don" and"Corrinne" I believe Swingster Wearables used to manufacture fashion oriented clothing in Kansas City. Each windbreaker is unlined and features a snap-button down front- everyone of which works fine. These windbreakers were made somewhere in the mid 1960s. Note: I could find no external issues with either windbreaker. The size tag has been cut out of the"his" windbreaker and the drawstring at the bottom ... morehem has been removed. The drawstring is present in the"hers" windbreaker! They could probably stand to be laundered- they have been closet stored for a very long time. Estate sale find! You just don't come across something like this everyday. Up for auction is a vintage World War II. Women's Coast Guard uniform- complete with a photograph of the woman wearing the uniform at the time she was in the Service. Please see the photographs I've loaded. There are too items with this set to photograph for listing on eBay, so I've chosen the best ones but I can send others upon request. Before providing you with what comes with this auction, let me first provide a little background information. The lady whom this uniform belonged to was named Elouise E. Carson and she served during WWI in the U.S. Coast Guard. Her rank is unknown to me. Complete set of the'National Edition' of the works of Teddy Roosevelt. Our most literary President; twenty volumes in all. Published in 1926, the set includes his hunting/outdoors/adventure books; histories; essays political, moral& literary; letters to his children; and autobiography. Most volumes include new introductions by friends, colleagues and other notables. Each volume bound in full green cloth. Paper spine label printed in two colors, top edge gilt. All have their original jackets. Light general wear to books, jackets show some edgewear, a few with staining/creasing to the spine, chips/missing patches at head of spine to a couple of volumes- I have included pictures showing the worst damage.
