It is nicely framed in a birdseye maple frame that measures 19 1/2" by 18 1/4" On the back is hand written note"My sampler worked at Mrs Brown private school 7 yrs of age. It appears that the date was scratched off. They were many important governors in Boston with the last name of Lincoln and Mary could possibly be a relative of Abraham Lincoln. There is some fading of alphabet at the top and a few small brown spots but overall in great shape for it's age. Also there are several small holes in the paper backing of the sampler. Colors are more vibrant than appears in the photos.

Heavy paperback, size 12" x 9" very colorful and quite educational.
