Per a question on this item. The filter is an AO(American Optical) WC10H. Has a gold/bronze coating on outside. Tint from interior looks bluish-green. Filter itself appears in good condition, some light scratches. Separate clear lens on exterior has quite a few scratches, however. I found this at a garage sale. The woman there told me that her husband had used it when he was a welder in the 40s and 50s. He is now 93 years old and his initials. JK, are scratched on the inside. It is made of some sort of fiber and metal.just as the company which made it is named. It measures 12 1/2 by 9 by 7 inches deep. The gloves are extra large. This is a great"barn find" I have not cleaned it. I have left it just the way I found it. If a person wanted to clean this mask up I'm sure it wouldn't take much. The welding lens flips up revealing a clear lens underneath. This would allow a person to see their work or even use this as part of a costume. Please. Feel free to make an offer.
