MILLER ELITE SERIES WELDING HELMET WELD HOOD AUTO DARKENING
This is a used Miller Elite series welding helmet. I am not sure what the part number of this helmet is but it is NOT the digital series. I believe it is the previous model. The Helmet shell, head cushion, front lens cover, inner lens cover, batteries are all BRAND NEW. The actual lens that darkens is about the only item that is use with this helmet along with the the grey head gear frame. The Darkening lens has a small spot in the bottom right corner where it doesn't work for some reason. as shown in the pictures) It was never dropped or anything but its just that corner and its smaller than a penny in size. Other than that spot the lens works perfectly fine and has no issues. The lat time I had this auction running someone did a buy it now and never paid for it. So now I am relisting it.

This auction is for all four pictured hoods. Three of these have batteries made into darkening shield. One has batteries on side of hood. They can be replaced but I do not have time or patience to do it. I tried one and cracked one sensor. I do not know if it will work when batteries are put back in it. I am including it so you can tell how and where to access. All seem to need new batteries. Bright sun makes them work sometimes. No guarantees on any. All sold as is with no returns. The black one has side batteries. One day it worked perfect. I let it sit for a few months and next time I tried it would not darken. I changed batteries to what I thought were good. this unit is not made to have the battery replaced it needs soldered and cost 12$ on ebay then the dimming unit will need the two halves of the case glued or taped back together i opened and tested the battery it was below the 3v left in the sun did not recharge i dont know for sure a battery will fix it but if i needed a helment i would give it a shot its better quality than harbor freight that is certain as found as pictured

Just installed new batteries and had it tested by a local welder. Comes with 9 extra outer lenses and 1 inner lens still in the green protective plastic. You will receive exactly what you see in pictures so please look closely. Note: as shown in pictures there are numbers scratched on the outside of helmet and the covering for the on/ off button has worn off. Still functions properly.
