Multi-hole coupling design. Ultra-rugged construction. This coupler is perfect for a narrowband(e.g. 4 GHz bandwidth) application anywhere in the 26.5-40 GHz band. Can also be used for full band. If the coupling gradient can be neglected or calibrated out. You can modify the internal termination if you disassemble the coupler. Which is fairly straightforward. The coupler can also be used as Ka band housing. Since the WR28 flange is naturally built-in(see picture 4) Very rugged construction. Virtually impossible to bend or break flanges. This auction is for a WR-28 Tee and a complete WR-28 to SMA adapter. The tee. Based on its weight, is made of brass and is gold plated inside and out. The two open ends are also plated with gold so I don’t think the flanges have been cut off. It is likely to have been from some special government project where the open ends were brazed into some assembly. Use it as is or add your own flanges.
