Up for Sale today are a special ordered matched set of WR-22 rectangular waveguide to circular adaptor with a circular polarizer tuned to a center frequency axial ratio balance at 44.5 GHz. The phase variation at any angle is less than 0.5 degrees over the frequency range of 43.5 to 45.5. This was the requirement as ordered but the units perform better than this over that range. Both units operate over the full bandwidth of the waveguide band of 33- 50 GHz with reduced performance outside of the tuned range of operation. Waveguide WR-75 and WR-90 load and transition. Great condition.
These two parts are excess to my needs. The WR-75 part is made of brass and has tapped holes in the flanges and is a 50 ohm load. The WR-90 part is a waveguide transition that I have added a single tuning screw on the top and one on the rear to in order to optimize the match at 10.368 MHz. It is made of aluminum and has a terrific match to 50 ohms because of the tuning screws. These transitions were generally made to cover 8.2 to 12.4 GHz with a good match across that range which is why I added tuning screws to it. Please see my other auctions for more great items.
