Handle looks beaded but is really tightly twisted and wrapped horse or other animal hair, and colored cords. It came with antique Native made items from the sub Arctic region and I thought it might be from there. It has been in my collection for many years. it's a unique and beautiful piece. The lace looks transparent in some lights. It has a triangular shape and measures approximately 4 3/4 inches. It stands 2 1/4 inches high. The ashtray is from the 1950's era. I feel a tiny flea bite or just the way the glass came off the mold, on the bottom rim. So tiny I almost missed it. Also underneath is a rough patch. Which must be from when it was taken out of the mold. On one candlestick holder at the top I did notice a ti ny crack on the inside of the glass but you have to really look for it. SET of 6 C HELLEBUSH TWISTED STEM FIDDLEBACK TEASPOONS
Set of six(6) C. Hellebush of Cincinnati silver twisted stem teaspoons with detailed and personalized engraved stem fiddleback handles Tea Spoon with a 2 inch long bowl. About 1.25 inches wide at widest point. This could be used with our other similar sets available in separate auctions. Please see our other auctions for more information on other pieces. About 6 inches long from point of spoon to end of handle. Twisted section on handle is a wee bit over one inch in length and sits between the beveled edge bowl of the spoon and the detailed fiddleback shaped handle. The handle is about 2.5 inches long and about.75 inch wide at the widest point. The back side of the handle is hallmarked C. HELLEBUSH at the top of the handle. There is a two-line engraved inscription on the back of the handle. But we can't decipher it. Fine detail work with ... moremultiple engraving techniques graces the entire stem. Both front and back. There is also an engraved detail just below the base of the spoon where it meets the twisted stem. Clemens Hellbrand was a jewler from Cincinnati. Ohio(please see our other auctions for work by other Cincinnati silversmiths. He was in operation from 1866 to 1893. His company both retailed and made to order jewelery and silver. Not marked; sterling or coin silver. Wear commessurate with use. Mostly light scratches. These items have received a preliminary polish and did shine up quite brightly, and could be polished up even brighter. This item came to us from an estate where it had been stored for years. Lot of six(6) Duhme& Co. of Cincinnati silver twisted stem teaspoons with detailed and engraved fiddleback stem handles Please read our details carefully. This listing is for a set of four(4) matching teaspoons. Plus two single, slightly different teaspoons from the same silversmith Set of four(4) Tea Spoons with a 1.75 inch long bowl. About 1.25 inches wide. This could be used with our other similar sets available in separate auctions. Please see our other auctions for more information on other pieces. About 5.75 inches long from point of spoon to end of handle. Twisted section on handle is a bit more than one inch in length and sits between the bowl of the spoon and the detailed fiddleback shaped handle. The handle is about 2.25 inches long and about.75 inches wide at the widest point. The back side of the handle is hallmarked STERLING ... more925/1000 DUHME at the top of the handle. One of the spoon is dented in the bottom of the bowl. Fine detail work with multiple cut engraving techniques graces the entire stem. Both front and back. There is also an engraved detail just below the base of the spoon where it meets the twisted stem. There is a monogram on the stem we can make out, looks like to very intricate intertwined letters. One(1) single engraved sterling Duhme& Co. teaspoon. Similar in measurements and design to the set above. Has more cut engraving(zipperlike design) just below the bowl and the details of the engraving on the handle appear to be slightly larger. Set of six(6) silver twisted stem spoons with detailed and personalized cut engraved fiddleback stem handles We'll call this a Soup Spoon with a 2.5 inch long bowl. About 1.5 inches wide. This could be used a teaspoon with our other similar sets available in separate auctions. Please see our other auctions for more information on other pieces. About 7.25 inches long from point of spoon to end of handle. Twisted section on handle is about 1.75 inches in length and sets between the bowl of the spoon and the detailed handled. The handle is about 2.5 inches long and about an inch wide at the widest point. The back side of the handle and spoon is blank except for the hallmark at the top of the handled. These items have received a preliminary polish and did shine up quite brightly, and could be polished up even brighter. It is from the turn of the century with a fantastic victorian design with a twisted handle and scallop. Most likely to serve soup or punch it is a fine ladle. Items are in good shape considering age just the typical signs of ware minimal rub off to the plate and some tipping to the top of the handle as picture. Welcome to my auction for this lot of six(6) cobalt blue twisted stem cordial glasses. They were from the 100th anniversary of the Elks Lodge of Norfolk Nebraska in 2001. They are about 8½" tall and have a 2½" base and the opening is 1 3/4" across. The Elks logo. Date and the picture of a n elk are embossed in gold on the front of each glass. There are no cracks or chips on any of the pieces.

Vintage Niloak Twisted Wing Winged Victory Blue Vase 1940's- EXCELLENT This beautiful Vintage Twisted Wing Blue Winged Victory Vase 1940's is 6 3/4 inches tall with a base of 2 1/4 inches and an opening of 3 inches. This was recently purchased at an estate auction. The condition is EXCELLENT with no cracks. Chips, and little to no crazing. Niloak Pottery was made in Benton, Arkansas up into the 1940's. Niloak spells Kaolin backward for the type of clay that was used. It is an interesting organic form, with bulb shape base and a twisted vine body with long wing shape handles at its sides, arising to a beautiful ruffled rim. This pattern is sometimes called Twisted Wing or Winged Victory. Please review the high resolution pictures because they are part of the description. They are part of Holmegaards Twist pattern which were produced in Denmark in the mid century. They were originally designed by Jacob Bang in the 1950s. Each of these Cordial glasses measure 6 1/2" tall and 1 5/8" in diameter. In excellent condition they have no chips. Nicks or cracks at all. Each one is signed HG8 on the base. You are looking at a set of SIX(6) beautiful stemware glasses. These have green twisted stems with a clear optic. Flaired bowl and clear foot. These came out of an estate that had lots of gorgeous crystal and art glass. So, I feel that these could very well be the work of Fry Glass, but I have found no markings. Each glass stands approx. 5-7/8" tall. These are in great condition. No chips or cracks. Check out my other items!

Fostoria Orchid wine Goblets You are bidding on a set of four(4) wine goblets from Fostoria designed on their 5097/5297 line. It is a pretty orchid/lavender bowl that is cut with a leaf and flower pattern, reminiscent of a dandelion. The bowl is vertical optic and the stem is clear and twisted. These glasses were only made for a few years in the 1920’s. The size of the glass reflects the Prohibition Era. Each of these stems is crystal clear and clean. Only one has a chip and that is photographed. The glass is clear and bright. They measure 5 ½ inches tall and the rim is 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The base measures 2 inches.
