This Motorola Desktrac(Model L43sum7000bt) is ready to be a reliable HAM/Amateur radio repeater system. Clean and functioning well! The transmitter is factory set to approx 30 watts(although the radio is capable of 50 watts) with a factory cooling fan for cool operation. This unit also can be used in base station mode and contains its own 120voltAC power supply and built in mic w/ PTT on the front panel. NO DUPLEXER SUPPLIED. The process of converting an LMH or LPH radio will only work on radios with Rev-2 radio firmware. The LMH/LPH conversion process will extend the lower frequency limit to 144MHz and give the radio 12.5KHz capability. It requires running a RELM program. LMR.EXE. Within the LMR.EXE program, select the advanced option and then the option codes. GE MVS remote mount VHF radio w/ control head and mic 40 watt ericsson 2 meter
I have a nice used GE Ericsson MVS mobile VHF radio. It comes with the transceiver. Mounting bracket, remote cable, mic, and control head w/ mounting bracket. According to the internet this is a 40 watt 16 channel VHF 150-174 mhz radio. There are several sites that talk about mods to use this on 2 meters ham/ amateur radio. Combination number is NPH20 and end of FCC id is MVSH3B. Please research this. I have not used this or tested it it was pulled from state vehicles when they upgraded to a trunking system several years ago. Sold as-is no returns. I will be listing another from the same fleet as well as a remote kit for the MVS radios in other auctions.

Stable receivers have a"bulletproof" front end that makes a real difference in your operation. These Motorola Micor VHF receivers are in excellent physical condition and perfect operating condition. Tuned with a new crystal to your specified operating frequency. The receivers were originally supplied for the 162- 174 mHz. range. And have been modified to correctly tune to the 144- 148 mHz. two meter repeater band. The receiver will be fully tested and will meet factory specifications when it is shipped to you. The receivers come with the correct multiplier components for the correct high side injection for the two meter range(see the Micor instruction manual parts ... morelist) Thus the only modification is to add sleeves to each of the tuning slugs in the front end.
