This is a used SM50 mobile radio in the 150-174 MHz VHF band split. The radio powers up and it may transmit. As you can see. This radio has had a toggle switch added to the case to control the internal speaker- neither of which are currently connected to the radio. This radio is missing the rubber channel selector buttons and volume knob. Internal components look to be in good shape. With just a little TLC, this radio can be in top shape quickly. Unit tested immediately prior to listing and powers up, lights come on as shown, unit beeps appropriately, and transmits/receives. Microphone phone attachment has plastic clip broken off but seats nicely and is not loose. Items included are the radio and the microphone. I bought this radio at a ham fest with intentions of putting to use. However all i did was power up the radio and program it. It has testing freq in it now. Buyer will have to program to desired freq. Radio comes with no accessories. I am not responsible for what u program into radio or what u transmit over the air waves. I have no way to test specs with service monitor and you buy the unit as-is. This unit appears to be in great shape for the age of the radio.
