DB Products UHF Repeater Duplexer DB-4075 GE DB4075 Ham Radio GMRS
This is a DB products UHF Repeater Duplexer model# DB-4075. It was obtained as part of a GE MASTR II series Ham Radio UHF Repeater system that was recently decommissioned. It is not tested and is sold as-is. GE included these 3-cavity duplexers in many of their UHF Repeater stations. Including the 200-watt versions. There's room for one more cavity, which I've added to several of these DB-4075 duplexers to convert them into the 4-cavity model# DB-4076, but I didn't have any spare cavities to add to this one. This duplexer has the stock double-shielded interconnect cables with type"N" female connectors, and is mounted on a 19" wide rack panel. The DB-4075 and DB-4076 will normally tune to the 440-450 MHz Ham Radio band with no modifications required. Standard RP70U UHF repeater / GMRS repeater
Up for sale is a Standard RP70U Uhf Base/Repeater that we used as a GMRS Repeater on our ranch. It's still plugged in and working I will remove it from a working environment. We had it setup on GMRS pair 462.650 receive and 467.650 transmit with a pl tone of 100.00. The pl tone is changeable with a dip switch setting inside the unit if you desire a different pl. It would cost some money to change it to another frequency pair for GMRS as it is crystal controlled and the internal duplexer has to be retuned when you change the operating frequency. If you don't know what GMRS is please educate yourself first before bidding on this item. You can learn more at. This would be a perfect setup for a family farm/ranch operation. This is the actual picture of this radio It has been bench tested on a service monitor when removed from service and meets all specs. It can be used in the ham bands by using the shift method while programming or using a few other methods. It is the 449-470 Mhz radio. But I can easily get it to go down into the 440-450 Mhz range. and even lower) It includes a mounting bracket and screws for radio. Mic is in pretty good shape. If you need specific freq programming, that is a $10 extra fee. There are lots of articles on Repeater Builder google(maxtrac-uhf-ham-band) about using 2 of these to build a repeater. MOTOROLA MTR3000 UHF REPEATER and DUPLEXER
This was removed from a working environment. I hooked this to my Motorola service monitor and it had a steady output of 108 watts until my service monitor timed out(a couple of minutes) then hooked this to a dummy load and continued to transmit until the repeater’s cooling fan kicked on(around 5 minutes) This was tested with 2 MotoTRBO radios that were removed from the same facility the repeater came from. The duplexer is untested but was removed from the same cabinet and should be tuned to the repeater(467.350Mhz input 462.350Mhz output) but will need to be retuned for whatever frequencies the buyer uses it for anyways. I also tested the DC power input with the battery backup from another repeater cabinet and it works great. These two items will ship together and will include a 14 day warranty against failure. They have been tested in both repeater and base station mode. It has a beautifully rich audio quality. These are designed to be used to drive a high power amplifier. They also can be used as a satellite receiver in a voted system and have built in status(pilot) tone generators to supply constant status tone to the voter. This is an electronic item and has no warranty other than it will not be DOA. This repeater/base is still in production by Kenwood and service/parts are available. These repeaters are considered Kenwood's top of the line commercial analog repeater and retails new: List $3438.00 just for the ... morerepeater unit. The repeater unit consists of a high quality receiver with a built in tunable band pass filter 5 Mhz wide. A control section with two separate remote inputs for external applications such as tone remotes or voters, and a transmitter exciter unit with a constant stabile TXVCO. It has adjustable output from 250 mW to 4 W. A little history about these repeaters: They were used in a voted system; the two older ones were used as a transmitter/local receiver and a remote receiver with the receiver audio being sent to the voter by phone line. Later after narrowband arrived and it was discovered that the coverage area shrunk to almost in half. Two additional receivers were added. Then. The phone companies decided to upgrade their lines to a fiber and copper mix, the system suffered miss-voting and erratic audio levels. A microwave system to bring the receive audio back to the voter was not a cost effective option at the time.
