And then transmitted and received between each other on all programmed frequencies. I also verified that the speaker worked, and that the button lights came on, and that the display was good. All are programed to operate on 450, 460 and 470 MHz. Research indicates this unit can also operate on 440 MHz if programmed to do so(look online for resources to learn how to do this) I also found that these radios work on 3 groups(groups 1, 2 and 3) and that a radio broadcasting on Group 1 will communicate with another radio operating on a different group, as long as each radio is on the same frequency.
