Now I tried to charge up each battery.I noticed when I put a battery in one of the chargers the light stayed red and it never appeared to charge. The other charger would eventually turn green as if the battery was charged up. I eventually charged up all 5 batteries which by the way say BP5447 10v 1200 mAh on the bottoms. Now I did slide each battery onto both of the radios one by one and they snapped in securely, but when I turned on the dial it would"click" to indicate it was on but I did not hear any static or see any light indicators. So bottom line this might be a great deal for someone who needs parts or batteries or a single working charger or knows how to truly verify if the main radios are working. Battery and Charger: Here is a Motorola NTN4633B battery charger. And a NTN5447BR or NTN5447B battery. The battery is listed as an alternative to parts NTN4824A, NTN5049A, NTN5447A. The battery is also listed as being a replacement for the Motorola NTN5414 and NTN5521A. The battery and charge both work. The Battery will charge in 1 hour and will run the radio(producing tone the entire time) for about 23 hours. I suspect this is a greater drain on the battery than normal operation, since normally the radio would be silent during most of the time. Radio: The radio has a problem and is included as a bonus encase you can repair it. It produces a tone when turned on. It changes in volume with the volume control. There are also other tones of a different pitch that are created when the Volume and Handset buttons are pressed. Also the radio is missing ... morethe antenna and the knobs. Both: All the contacts are clean and free of rust or corrosion. Over all they are clean. But may have some minor blemishes. This rechargeable battery would work great for other projects.
