Vintage VHF UHF Radio Scanner CE-110 Macdonald Instruments 8 Channels& Crystals The scanner uses very small plug in type crystals and currently the bay is about 2/3rds full with various frequencies. The 8 channels scan the VHF-HI and UHF bands 148-174/ 450-470 MHz. There is a plate on the bottom of the radio that gives access to the crystal sockets. The scanner is unlike a modern synthesized radio programmable scanner and requires the plug in crystals to select the various frequencies for it channels. There are used crystals available on eBay from time to time. Search for 10.7 scanner crystal to view available offerings.
