Motorola Visar UHF 450-512 16 Channel Tech Special
Up for sale a total of 2 Motorola UHF Visar portable radios model number H05SDD9AA4DN in the band split of 450-512 MHZ. These are both 16 channel radios with numeric display. Radios power up. Display works and receive fine. They are being sold as tech specials because they only transmit intermittently. It could very well be a simple fix, but I don't have the time to take them apart and figure out what's going on. Radios are in good physical shape but do have engraving on the housings. Radio comes with antenna but nothing else. Please be sure you are aware of the transmit issue before you consider purchasing these. Up for sale one Motorola Visar UHF 16 channel portable radios in the band split 4 03-470 model number H05 R DD9AA4DN. Radio is in good physical and working condition. Th is radio will do both wideband and narrowband channels and has been tested and transmits and receives just fine. These are great radios for Ham. Police, Fire, Ems, GMRS, Business, etc. Radio comes with antenna, battery that is not tested and probably will need to be replaced, slide in belt clip, and working used charger with power cord. Motorola UHF Visar Walkie Transceiver Radio, Ham, Commercial
This is a Motorola Visar Walkie in the UHF Band. I have not used it in a long time since i am no longer am a ham radio operator. Because I don't have anything to check it out with I can not test and insure its in proper working order.I am selling it as is. I do remember these units providing stellar communication on the projects i was involved with. Look to pictures for more detail and information to pull up the specs. I am selling"as is" because i don't have a way to test it and need to unload this equipment before i move this month. Batteries are as is. I don't know how much charge they hold these days. VISAR is a very small MOTOROLA radio set. It is even smaller then any Japanese portable radio, it looks like a FRS radio, it can easily put into pocket, but its performance is as well as other MOTOROLA professional ... moreradio, for example MOTOROLA HT1000. So MOTOROLA say“The VISAR portable radio is more powerful than radios twice its size. VISAR give us high power output at 7.2V. The VHF model VISAR can output 5W and UHF model VISAR can output 4W. There is only new model Japanese portable radio with MOS-FET RF parts can output such power at 7.2V. I have tried to adjust the output by VISAR RSS software, it can give higher output then its Technical Specifications. We can find two model of VISAR radio. Which frequency range is 136-178 MHz and 403-470 MHz. They are fine working for HAM band. Its sensitivity is 0.28µV@ 12dB SINAD. I have tested it at 435MHz, I found its sensitivity is better then 0.20µV@ 12dB SINAD, without adjust any parts. With the helical antenna for VISAR, it is as well as Japanese portable radio. VISAR has 16 channels. But it must program by computer and RSS software. It also can scan the designate channel. As the high-level professional radio. It has some signaling options include Quik-Call II/MDC/STAR/ATIS. MDC-1200/STAR/ATIS will pronounce special audio before your talk, it is PTT ID. It makes your calling distinctive and arrestive.
