This auction is for an EF Johnson model 242-8655 mobile radio. It has been modified for use on the 902/927 MHz ham radio band. Included is a mobile mounting bracket and DTMF microphone. RF Power output is about 25 watts. This radio will operate the 902/927 MHz ham repeaters. And also 927 MHz simplex. This radio will do up to 160 channels(16 groups of 10 channels each) and features PL/DPL, scan, etc. I will program up to 20 channels for free. Please provide me the frequencies and PL/DPL that you would like programmed. The power connector is a standard Anderson Powerpole. The power button and up/down buttons may need cleaning. All work but may require a hard press.
