They were designed by Maxon and called the SL70 which is 12.5(narrow band) or 25 khz spacing(good for amateur 440 band) The radio will accept both narrow and wide channels at the same time on a per channel basis. They are 16 channel 4 watts. They can be programmed via the Maxon software SMP4004c or the GE monogram software, cables are readily available on here($20-60) Includes 5 radios, 5 desktop chargers, 6 batteries, and 1 speaker mic. The radios were all programmed to talk to each other, they were used by a school back east. The batteries might need replacing, I haven't used them in several years. 10 GE Ericsson Monogram UHF 440-470 narrow band radios Maxon SL70 w/ ACCYS
This is a huge lot of GE Ericsson Monogram UHF portable radios. They were designed by Maxon and called the SL70 which is 12.5(narrow band) or 25 khz spacing(good for amateur 440 band) The radio will accept both narrow and wide channels at the same time on a per channel basis. They are 16 channel 4 watts. They can be programmed via the Maxon software SMP4004c or the GE monogram software which is readily available on the internet. This auction includes the GE monogram programming cable which will program these plus the mobile monogram radios as well, hooks to the computer parallel port no rib box needed. Includes 10 radios, 8 small desktop chargers w/ power supplies, 1 dual slot desktop charger, 12 used batteries(old no guarantee or testing on their run time) 3 speaker mics. The radios were all programmed to talk to each other, they were used ... moreby a school back east. The batteries might need replacing, I charged them up and was able to talk on several of them but no guarantee on the talk time. For use in the ham band, the receiver may need adjustment by a qualified radio technician; it will work fine in the commercial bands, though. FEATURES: 40 watt RF output, 16 channels, Scan. I don't have the service monitor required to do a full test of these radios. But they give every indication of working normally and show only small signs of wear.
