Kenwood TK-380 TK-880 & TK-840 Two Way Radio LOT
Kenwood(403-430mHz) UHF Radio System Lot of 6 Kenwood TK-380 portable radios. 3 Kenwood TK-880 mobile radios and 3 Kenwood TK-840 mobile radios and associated parts and pieces. For sale is our previous Kenwood radio system. This system is used and was working when removed from service to upgrade to a new Motorola system. All of the radios turn on. All of the portables which are programed together transmit and receive. All mobiles were checked to power on but we are unable to check transmit and receive as we do not want to key the radios without antennas. We operated this system for approximately two years performing repairs and maintenance as needed. We began having some issues with transmitting with the TK-840 radios and brought them into the shop. The radio shop diagnosed the issue as a problem with the mic cords(damaged cords visible in ... morethe photos) We did not opt to repair the radios but rather upgraded our system at that time. Not all of the radios are programmed together. Some of the radios are on our present repeater while some are still programmed to our old repeater. One TK-380 and one TK-880 were purchased used but never put into use by us and so are not programmed to either system. We do not have the capacity to program these radios nor do we have the capacity to deprogram them. As such. These radios will NOT BE SOLD WITHIN BRITISH COLUMBIA. Purchaser will need to have radios programmed by a qualified shop. WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER PROGRAMMING.
