Icom IC-F121S Commercial Amateur Two Way Radio 2M 136MHz - 174MHz VHF 50W
Up for auction is a used in good condition Icom IC-F121S commercial(or amateur) two-way radio. These are very durable radios that are typically used for fire. Ambulance, and other commercial applications. They can transmit/receive anywhere in the 136MHz to 174MHz VHF range. The radio programs fine and receives transmitted signals fine. I cannot fully test transmit as I do not have an Icom mic, but I was able to key up the radio(antenna attached) and the squelch on the receiving radio opened up and received the signal the Icom was transmitting(I am FCC licensed to operate this radio) Please do not transmit with this radio if you do not have the appropriate FCC license to do so. The internal speaker is ridiculously loud. Turning the volume down all the way does not prevent audio from coming out of the speaker.
