What you see is what you get: A Radio that is crystal controlled. Mounting bracket, and a manual. Does NOT come with a mic, power cord. Freq range is 146-174MHz. I do not know if this unit is the 8W or 15W model. The TX and RX sections have crystals in them. So you can build yourself a portable repeater from this unit. it is heavy and I have enough door stops. So this one has to go. The manual has the service schematics. Tells you how it works, wiring diagrams. I have zero idea what it should be priced at. So if it is a great deal, buy it. If not, send me a reasonable offer. Pyramid SVR-200 UHF vehicluar repeater HAM, MURS, GMRS
Pyramid SVR-200 UHF vehicular repeater. The repeaters came out of local fire department vehicles connected to the Kenwood TK630H radio and worked when remove. The unit can be used"in-band" with a notch duplexer or with out a duplex in"cross band" mode. Since these are UHF units the repeater would work well with low-band. VHF(including the 220Mhz HAM band) and 800/900Mhz bands. They would work in all HAM bands as well as commercial with proper setup and/or accessories. To use in the UHF GMRS band a duplexer would have to be used to isolate the repeater from the mobile radios transmitter. Three of these units have never been used and are still in the original packaging. All units power up but this is as far as they can be tested.
