From a state surplus sale. A Motrola Desktrac model L51SUM70D0B. According to this web page: http:www.repeater-builder.com/motorola/maxtrac/desktrac.html that model number indicates, among other things, that this one is 45 watt and VHF-lo band. I turned it on and the numbers come up, I could change them and it did switching between numbers and top-and-bottom horizontal lines, which I interpretted as scanning. Volume knobs seems to work. The thing generally seems to be working but I can't tell for sure. Still, the state is not supposed to sell non-working electronics at surplus, so I'm selling this one as working, and if it's not it can be returned for a refund. Desktrac UHF Repeater/Base L54SUM70D0 40 W 449-470 MHz
Desktrac L44/L54SUM70D0 UHF 40W Repeater/Base 449-470 MHz. Used but in good condition. I programmed it for a repeater pair. TX 462.625 and RX 467.625. I programmed two portables and tested the repeater action between portables as well as pushed the base button to take it out of repeater mode. Then tested the base mic. All seems to be working fine. The cooling fan is a little noisy but seems to be spinning fine. Dust is free. But case is good, display is good. type N female connectors on TX and RX. Microphone and Power Cord included. It won't do Ham and it can't do Narrow Band. It is set at 25kc ch. Good Luck. Dave.
