We put this on our wattmeter and it shows over 25 watts on transmit. And receives from another radio just fine. This was a take-out from a large fleet that installed all of the same model radio in everything. This one DOES 12.5k narrowband spacing. This radio is in very nice condition. The buttons do have a little discolor but not real noticeable. To most, it would go unnoticed, but we want to note it incase it's an issue for someone. See the photo for detail. This is a working. 2 channel VHF mobile radio. Range is believed to be146-174 MHz. Unit was programmed in the 154's. Unit tested immediately prior to listing and powers up, lights come on as shown, unit beeps appropriately, and transmits/receives. Microphone phone attachment has plastic clip broken off but seats nicely and is not loose. Items included are the radio and the microphone. About 30 watts, at 148-174 Mhz, but it would appear from some of the forums that these can be use for 2 meter work, and even narrow banded? The process of converting an LMH or LPH radio will only work on radios with Rev-2 radio firmware. The LMH/LPH conversion process will extend the lower frequency limit to 144MHz and give the radio 12.5KHz capability. It requires running a RELM program. LMR.EXE. Within the LMR.EXE program, select the advanced option and then the option codes. To change the lower frequency limit to 144MHz and add 12.5KHz capability, ... morethe four hexadecimal option codes must be changed to read 00DC(80DC for the LMH) 3F2B, E970, 195F.
