You are bidding on a very nice MOTOROLA RADIUS SM120 2-WAY UHF RADIO USED BY CHP WITH MIC. CABLES, MAGNETIC ANTENNA MOUNT- IN WORKING CONDITION. Power cable has a cigarette lighter plug. We tested it and everything seemed to work as it should. We do not have the actual antenna so we couldn't receive anything but the unit powered up nicely, bright display, beeps when channels were changed and transmits light came on when mic button was pushed. This came from the estate of a long retired CHP officer who patrolled El Dorado County. Channels listed are in the 150 mgh +/ range. Originally bought this portable radio used from Spectrum Communications in Kenville.NJ and I have had it about 1-2 years. The radio works great and is in very good condition, couple nicks and scratches here and there but I have used it in the field as an EMT. It is currently programmed to Warren and Hunterdon counties in NJ but if you desire I can have that removed. I believe this is a VHF radio and it has a functioning back light screen, 16 channels, a key pad, and is coming with 2 batteries both were new when I bought the radio and still last 1-1.5 days without communicating, I am estimating about 3/4 a day while communicating. The antenna on the radio and well as the belt clips on each of the batteries are new as well. I originally bought this radio with the charger. 2 batteries, cord to charger, belt clips, antenna and speaker mic for ... more$175.00 because the condition is pretty much the same I put the buy it now price at $130.00. This a lot of Two Motorola XTS 3000 Model I# H09KDC9PW5BN P25 compliant 48 channel programmable portable VHF radios. These radios do NEED TO BE PROGRAMMED. They were purchased at a government surplus auction and de-programmed prior to sale. The radios are currently programmed only to receive the weather radio channel repeated broadcast. These radios were in working order when they were removed from service and the buttons function on both of the radios and lapel mics. What is pictured is what is included in the auction. There are NO BATTERIES included for these radios. The batteries are easily purchased off of eBay however. I tested them with batteries from other radios in this lot and both radios powered up and functioned fine. It was used by a local sheriff's department so it does have some slight cosmetic wear but nothing that interferes ... morewith function. The lapel mics are model# NMN6193C and also included. There is a piece of plastic/ rubber on the base of the lapel mikes that are split in two but this DOES NOT expose any of the wires and does not interfere with function. Press Top to select group/channel with rotary knob. Pressing C changes between channel and group(you can rotate back on the group to get to groups 250 and 249) 3. Press B to move to RX frequency selection. Use rotary knob to set frequency. And change step using A. Turn channel on/off with Bot. 4. Press B to save and move to next setting. Or C to move without saving. For RXS and TXS press Bot to change between none. QT and DQT, then use rotary to select. 5. Move through the settings until you get back to the group/channel select.
