There is not one mark or scuff on the unit itself, truly like new. The rain cover has never been out of the case, and the lens cloth has never been out. I don't think the tools have been out of the kit either. There is a number on the side, UN 5278" I think this is the serial number. I believe this unit is about 5-6 years old. For sale is a Pentax PCS-325 total station in great condition! Included with the instrument is a charger and single battery both in working order. The battery charges quickly and holds a full charge. The instrument itself is in great shape. The scope glass and optical plummet glass are flawless. The digital display screens and buttons are in perfect working order on both sides of the instrument. Pentax included several great on board coordinate stake out features in the PCS-325 that can be used without a data collector if you need to take a few quick measurements or data collection. The Instrument levels up via tribrach coarse level and fine scope level without a problem. I used this as my back up lately but don't use it enough to justify keeping it. This is a Sokkia/Sokkisha model 188 Tribrach with Optical Plummet and removable hub. These are normally used in the field of surveying to mount total stations. Transits and other surveying gear to a tripod. It appears to have a standard topcon Tribrach is in good physical condition with scuffs. Scratches and wear from normal field usage. It comes with a removable hub that can be used to mount equipment. The locking mechanism on the tribrach holds the hub in place tightly. The optical plummet is in great shape and all three levelling knobs can be adjusted properly. The bubble level is in fine shape as well. I am not sure of the exact model of the Tribrach. It has#188 stamped on the bottom of it and I see similar tribrachs with a model of 731135.
