The Petzl Ecrin Roc helmet has VERY light scratches to the out side and the interior is very nice with the original headband and suspension and chin strap webbing intact and very clean. Antique Pri-Mus No 855 Brass Carbide Torch
In seriously great shape for its age. And probably still works(but I'm not trying it! but you'll notice that the tip has been burned off a bit. No dings or dents; the Trade Mark is still very legible(and a lot of it is in Russian too) If you wanted to clean this one up it would look just like new. I can tell from the nuts it has never been disassembled either, but it does look like the fill cap has had a pair of pliers taken to it more than once. This came from a collection my grandfather started many moons ago back in Arizona. It was used by prospectors and miners out west way back then because it works on carbide. Same fuel as their lamps.

Guys Dropper smooth sided Nickel plated miners carbide cap lamp with 2 patent dates on the top. Marked ON Pat. 5.26.14-9.19.16 OFF Lamp has a new ceramic burner tip and striker. This is a shelf queen because there is an unrepaired hole in the corner of the bottom. A similar hole was solderd over by the miner. This is a style of bottom that you do not see often. You are bidding on one lot of one older miner’s headlamp by Justrite. Their patent number 11512. This is a well used item for show rather than use as it has a crack in the bottom fuel tank. The all brass design has small dings and dents, and has heat and smoke marks. The Justrite name is on the top with the on/off switch. The tank unscrews and it looks like there is some kind of scale in there. The mirrored reflector is intact but dirty. The flint wheel works fine and sparks. A hook for hanging on the back. RARE EARLY"JUSTRITE" HORIZONTAL BODY CARBIDE MINER'S LAMP PATENT PENDING ONLY- NO PATENT DATES YET This antique carbide lamp body is unique in the fact that it is very early in the development of the popular and successful brand of JUSTRITE carbide mining lamps. It only has Patent Pending stamped. So it was prior to the first issue of a patent number for Augie L. Hansen's development of the Wire Feed design, patent#1,084,145. This specimen looks to have the Wire Feed type of water distribution but it had not been granted patent until Jan. 13, 1914. This likely dates this lamp to 1913 or earlier. It is obviously only the water body and is sold"as is" I had thought to replace the reflector and carbide base, but thought I would leave that to the true collector, and high bidder. On second look. The logo that Justrite is so noted for, is not here. The most unique aspect of this lamp body, is that the logo that says JUSTRITE is not even represented in the definitive research book of the history of mine lighting by Henry Pohs, The Miners Flame Light Book. There are a variety of Justrite logos shown in Appendix 27 on page 770. I CANNOT FIND THIS VERSION OF THE JUSTRITE LOGO ANYWHERE! It is very angular. And looks a little"Flintstone Bedrock" style with the chiseled angles on the:J" U" S" and the"R" They obviously only used straight chisel tools in creating the die for this logo as there ... moreare no curves in any of the letters. This is very much in contrast to the"Streamlined" type which is full of curves an flourishes, and the other stock stamp letters used in MADE IN U.S.A. and PAT. PENDING. Please inspect this item carefully and educate me if you have any insight into this logo oddity. Please note that this specimen is a"Patent Pending" only, and due to the fact that it appears to have the Wire Feed water distribution design, this lamp must be earlier than the issue of that patent as this is patent pending only. For the age of this piece, it looks very good, with minor dings from use. The water door opens and closes smoothly, the water feed lever moves easily, and if desired, it would clean up nicely. Antique Justrite Carbide Lamp and Leather Miners Cap
Up for bid is an old Justrite Miners Lamp and an old Leather Miners Cap. My neighbor put carbide in the lamp and it worked for about 15 minutes until we put it out. A new gasket had to be added to the lamp to make it safe. The lamp has dents and tiny cuts. The leather cap is old and has the name Progress and Pat Pending on the front. I think they both would make pretty good wall hangers. I personally wouldn't use either as they are extremely old. I believe them to be from the very early 1900's. I honestly don't know what they are worth in their condition. I put a reasonable price on them to start. Check the pictures and bid accordingly. Antique Coal Miner Lamps Carbide Helmet Hat Universal Lamp Company Auto-Lite
A great antique coal miner's lamp. This belonged to my husband's father who worked in the mines of Eastern KY and Southwest VA. It is a Guys Dropper Auto-Lite carbide lamp made by Universal Lamp Co. The hinged stopper still functions great. No dents or holes. The striker wheel still turns easily. The hat hook is in great condition. No damage at all. It also still has the rubber piece in place on the bottom of the lamp. All I have done is wipe the dust from it. I have made no attempts to clean or remove the patina that time has wrought. Vintage Justrite Miners Carbide Lamp with Wood Handle
This is a very nice Justrite miners lamp with a wooden handle. I've never seen one of these lamps with a handle. The handle is cracked and repaired with a screw. Could be easily fixed with alittle wood glue. The lamp is in good condition. No dents. Thanks for looking.
