Each is about a size 9 to 10 mens, maybe-they measure about 12 in. long including the narrow toe, and about 4 in. across the widest part. And they have metal'Tap' plates on the heels. Any markings these may have had, are long worn away. This pair has some overall wear-creasing/some wear from use-soles are worn thin with a hole and wear spot by the toe on the right one. Landis Collapsible Tap Warner Potter Acme Jones Gisholt
This is a used Landis collapsible tap#4ALT2191. Other than a little tarnish and light surface rust from years of sitting on the shelf. It is in excellent working condtion. The shank is 1 3/4" diameter and 4" long. The trip plate is 6" in diameter. Overall length is 12 1/2" long. The nose diameter is 1.670" x 3" long. I do not know the tapping size range.The opening and closing movments work and feel like new.I don't think there is a CNC lathe out there that can thread faster than one of these. THANKS for looking.

5/8 x 8 Rough & Finish ACME THREAD TAP
A must have for any nice tap collection. This is a used tap if that says anything for it, this is the one tool does it all 5/8-8 ACME Thread, rough and finish. Not very easy to come by but nice to have when you need it. The tool is in great condition, been used 3 or 4 times and hibernates in a protective sleeve. A steal at twenty bucks. Hardinge topslide repair kit with long 1/2-10 Acme LH tap
This is a kit to repair your top slide. It comes with: A drill bushing. A#3 center drill. The drill for a 1/2 acme tap. A 1/2 LH acme tap. A new brass nut that you put in place and the tap. Instructions from 1961. All of the tools are extended so they fit in a bushing and reach the nut once installed. This allows you to use a hand drill to cut the slide nut once it is in place for optimal accuracy. It is all in good condition but it has been used once. It looks like the hand drill spun on the shaft of the drill bit but its not bad. I am tempted to frame the instructions and hang them in my shop but you may need them.

This auction is for a 1/2-10 hand tap. I purchased it used here on ebay but never used it. It is a little under 8 3/4" long and as you can see in the high res pictures it is in good usable condition. There is a mark between two of the flutes that reads RAD. This tap looks like the tap used first before a second tap is used to finish cutting the threads. See one of my other auctions.
