The foot of the pedestal is scalloped. There is some yellowing where the pedestal was adhered to the plate but this is common with this brand. It has not been repaired. The skirting around the top edge conceals where the top attaches to the pedestal. Size: Measures 6.75 inches tall and 10 inches in diameter. Age: Unknown. Condition: Good. Vtg Imperial Milk White Glass Laced Edge & Diamond Pattern Pedestal Cake Stand
This elegant pedestal cake stand was made by Imperial Glass Company in the 1950s. It is their lace edge pattern which features a cut work border around the plate. Beneath the plate and on the pedestal. There is a highly detailed pressed diamond pattern. The diamonds show lightly through to the top of the plate. The plate is lightly textured and has a depression in the very center. Measurements: 4-3/4" tall. Top is 12-1/2" wide including the lace border with a full 9-7/8" across the smooth area of the plate; round base measures 5" wide. Weight: 3 lb.9 oz. Excellent condition with no utensil marks. This cake stand appears to have hardly been used. It is beautiful!
