There seems to be no other markings on this item. It has very little burn marks on the bottom. Not even enough to photo We almost never used it because it was obviously for formal attire& that was a rare thing in our home. Vintage Copper Sauce Warmer This is a vintage copper and brass butter or sauce warmer and stand. This looks like a mini chafing dish. There is a brass and copper stand with feet and an indented area for a candle. The pot sits on top and has a spout for pouring and a black painted wood handle and black plastic knob top on the lid. This measures 6 1/4" tall and 4 3/4" in diameter. The stand is marked underneath'Made in Portugal' with a maker's mark. Condition: Please look at the 6 photos I have taken the time to provide and read what I write. The lid has discoloration as well as all of the copper. This shows wear. Ornate Vintage Silver Plate Chafing Dish Pan with Warmer Footed Server
Ornate Vintage Silverplate Serving Dish with Warmer Offered: A chafing warming dish with wood handle. This piece is not marked silver or silverplate anywhere that we could see. We really did look everywhere but could not see a name or a number. We assume it is silverplate because it does tarnish and the tarnish rubs off with soft cloth. We tested it all over with a magnet and nothing attracts the several magnets we tried. Not the pan, the lid, the legs, the stand or the warmer piece with wick. It is sturdy and substantial and has a good heft. The overall piece weighs a little over 5.5 pounds. It measures approximately 17" wide including the handle. 10.25" in diameter and 10" high to the lid handle. It holds 6 cups. It would make a functional and beautiful serving piece on a buffet table. This vintage piece from metalsmiths working predominately in pewter looks as though it was made for a pot which would have been in the Danish Modern style; as were many of their pieces. Vintage 6 piece copper asian rice/food warmer chafing dish. it is a complete burner with all parts. it is completely made of copper which has a great shiny polished finish. it has heavily embossed with beautiful floral foliage and lettering. the bowl it sits in has a nice engraved scene of an asian village with a floral trim and the burner and housing sit in the middle of the bowl. a candle or a sterno burner is meant to be used on this piece. the pot sits on top of the burner housing and fits nicely. It has a stack in the middle and is lined with a tin i believe. the pot has two lids. Vintage Copper Aluminum & Brass CHAFING DISH Warmer Fondue Pan w/ Wood Handle
Vintage Copper. Aluminum, Steel and Brass Chafing Dish Warmer Fondue Pan. The pan has a wood handle. The pan measures approx. 9 1/4" in diameter. The entire chafing dish when set up measures about 9 3/4" tall and is about 11" wide measured from the outer edge of the feet. Components include: Copper with aluminum coated interior pan with a wooden handle. Solid copper insert in which the pan sits Solid copper and brass burner 3 Legged tripod stand. Legs and burner base are copper. The braces and the band within which the insert and pan sits are made of steel that is coated in either copper or brass. These areas are very strong magnetic. While the other areas are not magnetic at all. It has a very nice patina about it. But could be polished to really shine, should the buyer so desire. It is in good condition and ready to use as ... moreis. There are a couple of small dings in the lid of the pan if you closely inspect it. Very insignificant. I do want to mention that where one of the braces that is attached to the burner shelf to the underside of the leg. Has come untacked where it meets the leg. see last pics) This does not affect its use in anyway. this is a stunning antique large handmade copper and iron food heater warmer with stand and burners. it is Swiss made and signed at the bottom of the pot"Alla Monda" the pot is very large and made from thick copper with a great hand hammered finish. has thick copper handles on the sides and on the lid which all have great hand engraved detail. they are hand riveted to the pot with heavy duty copper rivets. the lid has a domed shape and sits nicely over the bottom pot. the pot has a great patina from age and is a heavy piece. it has a great wrought iron footed stand with swirled legs and 3 slots for burners. it was made this way to be able to use two burners at one for high heat or just to use on in the middle for low heat. the burners are also made from thick copper and have a hammered finish and have handled lids. the other handle ... morethat is connected to the burner turns and opens and closes the holes on the siders to control flame and heat. the inside of the burners contain basically one large wick and after adding fluid will light up perfectly. the burners sit nicely recessed into the base and sit off of the surface it sits. it is in good shape with no dents or pieces missing and has a great patina from age, it measures 18 1/2 inches long by 9 3/4 inches tall by 11 inches wide. great extremely rare one of a kind piece. Beautiful chafing dish which shows very little wear. May be Silverplated but I am not 100% sure. Measures 7 1/2 inches tall with bowl inserted and without lid. Holds a 9 inch diameter glass Anchor Ovenware bowl which holds 2 Qts. and is 3 inches deep. No cracks or chips but glass bowl does have some lite surface scratches but nothing serious. 3 legged holder has a hole in center for fuel burner which measures 1 1/4 inches across-see pics. This is an exquisite antique silver-plated oil burning hot plate/ chafing dish. It is extremely ornate with very dimensional intricate detailing. It is beautifully footed with very nice floral and shell design, the handles are equally as ornate with much detailing. It is a three piece set the large base. The removable hot plate, and the burner. the silver-plated burner sits recessed into the inside of the base and would hold oil. the plate has some ware on the top but still usable. There is also a nice badge on the side which would be used for initials of owner. the base has many holes in the bottom and under the handles for venting heat. Up for your consideration is this Double Boiler Chafing Dish With Stand 5 Pc Set This is a pre-owned set that is in acceptable condition but without handle. You can use it either without handle or get a spare one. The copper dish is 8-1/2” in diameter. The enameled metal pan is 9-1/4” diameter, the copper lid has a wood knob. The brass& copper stand is about 11-1/2” across at the bottom, There is a copper bowl(no lid) for the candle or sterno(not included) There is a dent in the lid that I can see. The copper has some cleaning residue so will need a re-cleaning and the bottom of the enameled pan has a blistered look. There is some discoloration and scratches, especially on the stand. Rare Vintage Bauer Pottery Food Warmer Chafing Dish Casserole With Brass Stand
We have here a rare Food Warmer Casserole Chafing Dish with Brass Stand made by Bauer Pottery in the 1950s. The glaze color is Solid Pink not the more common Speckled Pink. In 35 years of collecting Bauer. I have never seen another one of these in this color. The casserole measures 8 inches in diameter and 3 inches deep. The bottom of the casserole is marked with the impressed Bauer mold mark. The candle holder is unmarked with 3 mold marks. Condition of the pottery is excellent with no chips, cracks or crazing. The brass stand is in nice condition with the"as found" patina on the brass. The brass has NOT been cleaned or polished. Check out the pictures for all of the details. Good luck and happy bidding! This is a charming china chafing dish from the early 20th century which has a matching candle warmer and metal stand. The china is white with a lovely rose transfer ware decoration around the lid. Bowl base and warmer. The rim of the lid, bowl rim, warmer, and handles are accented with gold. There is crazing due to age. The pieces are unmarked. The metal stand appears to be brass, and has wear marks due to aging. The bowl measures 11.5" from handle to handle. And stands 6" high. The candle warmer has a 3" diameter and stands 2" high. The metal base is 6.5" at its widest and stands 4" high on 3 legs.
