Nice old Bb Flugelhorn with rotary valves. It was made by Franz Michl. Graslitz, Böhmen(Bohemia) Size of the horn is 43cm/17inch. The tubing from the bell to the beginning of the mouthpice receiver is137cm/ 54 inches long. so it plays in Bb Bellsize: 16cm, aprox. 6 1/4inch. The valves are moving easy and fast. The slides moving. There are a few bents in the bell and dents in the tubing, nothing too dramatic. Unfortunatelly there is a crack in the tubing that covers the leadpipe and there is a loose soldery place between the first and the 2nd valve. Instrument needs to be serviced and repaired. Telephone Pioneers of America 75 years of community service bell
You are bidding on a TELEPHONE PIONEERS OF AMERICA BELL Paperweight. It has two different triangles on it with the words- LOYALTY- SERVICE- FELLOWSHIP surrounding one of them and TELEPHONE- PIONEERS- OF AMERICA around the other. At the center of the bell it has what appears to be a diamond that has 75 YEARS OF and then at the bottom it finishes the phase with COMMUNITY SERVICE. Beside the diamond it reads 1911 and 1986. The bell measures 3 3/8" wide by 3 1/8" tall. It is light pink in color. The glass is a clear high grade that that is thick. It is in great condition and would be a nice addition to someone's collection. This is one of two that I am selling. If you buy both insulators. I will combine shipping.
