This beautiful silverplate chafing dish with the two handled lid misses its original turned wood handle and the base stand with the oil warmer. But they are amazing and fully functional if you want to put them into service. It was manufactured by the POOLE Silver Co. Taunton, MA, probably either in the first half or around the middle of the last century the latest. The dish measures approx. 13 1/2" x 11" without the socket of the handle and the lid is 13 1/2" x 8 1/2" with the handles. It is 3 3/4" high with the lid on and the dish itself is approx. 2" deep. It needs cleaning but it is in very good condition with only light scratches from earlier cleaning and sign of wear on the four corners of the bottom from the now missing base stand(see pictures) It is an almost 5 lbs. heavy, sturdy, very ornate, high quality ... morepiece, worth to buy it either for your collection or for your kitchen. A pre-owned antique silver soldered 8" chafing dish with no lid and black handle. The piece looks very early with its primitive soldered handle and added 4-1/2" dark wooden handle. This belonged to a friend who found it in the attic of an old home she had purchased. The markings on the back indicate it is International Silver Co. Silver soldered, the number SHO859 or SH0859 and 8 in. I am assuming it is a chafing dish which is missing its lid. It has seen better days and has been banged about a bit. It is an American piece and it is marked on the top of the silver plate burner' ROCHESTER' along with a date"Pat'd April 26.1904" On the bottom of the dishes it is marked"R.S.W'KS" MADE IN U.S.A. which I believe stands for Rochester Stamping Works. It is 110 years old and it is in pretty good condition with just a few spots on the top of the lid that have a couple small dings and a small dent. There is also a dent on the bottom of the burner that can only be seen when it is out and tipped over. It has wonderful lobster legs and as if this wasn't enough they fitted a stag horn on all the handles and the top lift up on the lid! The inside of the chafing dish had at one time a silver plate divided ... moresection which is no longer there. The rest of it is in great condition for its age and the plating is in good shape and it looks like it is silver plate over brass. It measures 13" high by 18" long by 13 1/2" wide in diameter. Mid Century Modern Casserole Chafing Divided Glass Dish #25
This 1950's serving piece is in great vintage condition. The set includes a glass divided casserole dish with lid set into a gold tone metal structure that has a space for a candle to keep your dish warm. Very groovy indeed. The glass casserole measures 9 1/2" in diameter. And the whole set stands approximately 6-1/2" high x 11" wide. It has a polished brass lid and walnut accents on the 3 legs and the knob on the top of the lid. The glass dish is in excellent shape with no chips, cracks or other damage. This is a vintage chafing dish. It was made by Globe-Ware Industries of Elverson. Pa. The instruction booklet has recipes as well, and is dated 1961. It has the usual signs of use and wear. The pan is colored aluminum and has wooden handle and knob. You will need to get fuel canisters to heat the pan. Look all the pictures over. You are welcome to ask questions.

This is a very nice and sturdy copper 6 piece warmer complete with covered 2 piece heating compartment. Base pan, handled sauce pan, sturdy stand and lid. It has a handle(wood, bakelite?and knob on lid very clean for it age with no dents or dings. A very old vintage piece that would be great to take to a family gathering or for having guest over. The pan measures 9" across and 2.5" deep. I polished it and it polished up beautifully. Great for use or for a show-piece.

For sale is a beautiful vintage Wm. Rogers Royal Provincial 4 piece Chafing dish. This dish came from a high quality estate sale. It has been polished and it is just lovely. It shined beautifully. The stand has 3 feet. The burner is missing. It has a black wood handle that is in wonderful condition. It has a few dings and pitting in the bottom of the insert. Also the bowl has a few dings in the bottom. I have tried to show this in the picture.It is 7 inches tall with the stand and bowl. It is about 13 inches tall from the stand to the top of the lid. There have been no repairs that have had to be made to the lid. It is about 12 1/2 inches wide. This would be lovely for the holidays or catering. Royal Rochester Chafing Dish. Patent date says November 1911 however. I can't seem to find any more information about this item. The original booklet is still with it and does show signs of wear but since I acquired it I have kept the booklet in a ziplock bag to prevent further damage. The chafing dish is in really goo condition for its age but does have some minor imperfections. The stand has separated where the burner sits in but could be soldered or repaired I just haven't done so because it does stay together without it. This is a complete 5 piece set. For the festive table or buffet. This English plate serving dish is just perfect. It has beautiful scroll designs on the domed top with a graceful leaf handle and a banded edge which is repeated on the dish. The dish has a small screw on cap which allows you to pour hot water in the bottom of the piece. This keeps the food nice and warm while not having to mess with open flames. Since it also cools off gradually, you will not have the last of the food all caked on the bottom of the dish. Everything will be presentable and appetizing till the very end. This is a beautiful silver chafing dish from the Crown Silver Company. It is missing the original burner that goes underneath. There is a small bend in the lip of the lid. It's not terribly noticeable as I didn't notice it until I was washing it. It also has a place where some food appears to be stuck on inside the food serving dish. A person with knowledge of cleaning silver might be able to remove it. I am not a silver expert by any means and was afraid to damage it. So I cleaned it in my sink with only water. Salt and baking soda. There was no silver polish so some extra effort could probably get it shining even more. I am asking less for the starting bid due to the fact that it is missing the burner. Imprint on bottom of dish proves authenticity, and although it is hard to read it is present. See photo. Imprint reads'Chadwick International Silver Company 1512' Dimensions with cover/lid: 12" long x 8" wide x 3.5" high. Dimensions without cover/lid: 12" long x 8" wide x 2" high.
