Great chickenwire graniteware piece from Germany measuring approx. 14" wide and 4" deep. Was used in the early 1900's in the laundry area of the upper class homes. The sand was used as an abrasive. The soda for stains and the siefe(soap) for cleaning. Has some chips and stains as shown in the photo but is a sound and solid piece that could be used for many uses today and as a decorative piece.
