Vintage HALL Icecream Soda Fountain Porcelain Syrup Containers Chrome Ladle
Up for auction are 3 old syrup containers with lids with attached ladles for dipping. These dispensers are made of heavy white porcelain with what looks like chrome. Each lid has an id tag to identify the topping contained. The tops unscrew so that the topping type can be changed. The bottoms are marked Hall USA. Each container has minor issue problems such as small edge chips and the ladles are darkened and slightly rusted from being in syrup for so long. The lips of the lids have a few chips but all of this is minor and from normal use in a busy retail shop. These are heavy duty restaurant quality and each one weighs a hefty 5 lbs. These pieces hail from a long ago closed soda confectionary shop in Downtown Norfolk. The dimensions are 9" high. 8" long and 4"wide. These were made in the early Showa or late taisho period(pre WWII) They are in very good condition without any chips or major blemishes. One of the lids has a piece of tape on the top. 1930's- 1940's Clear Glass Candy Containers- Scottie Dog; Donkey and Cart
These are wonderful clear glass candy containers from the 1930's to 1940's. The donkey and cart has a swirl design; is unmarked; no chips or scratches. The scottie dogs are clear heavy glass; a two part mold; texture to look like hair; no chips or cracks; probably from the Jeanette Glass Co. PA or the K.R. Haley Crystal Co. The glass donkey and cart measure 4 3/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches high; the dogs measure 4 inches by 2 inches by 3 1/4 inches high. I will ship and insure free to USA and CANADA. These are great for display; in excellent condition.
