Hakko 808 desoldering Gun-100 watt soldering iron-used-works good-guaranteed
I recently purchased an $800 rework station. So I don't need my 808 any more. It's served valiantly and helped to rebuild many pieces over the years. It served double-duty as desoldering gun and 100 watt soldering iron(for chassis work, bulky binding posts, anywhere there is a lot of copper to pull away the heat) It was dropped. And it cracked, which is why there is glue on it. It works fine however. The suction and heat are not affected by the crack. The things missing from the original kit are the instructions. The wrench(finally broke) and the white tablet-shaped filters(I use cotton balls) You can buy a new body, new heating element, new pump, new everything.
