This a vintage lure made by John C Pearce called Streak-O-Lean. These are a soft plastic baits that have a wick inside of them that was dipped in cod fish blood. They have a quite a nice minnow fish paddle tail that is rare. I've been told these lure are a collectible because there wasn't lots of them made. Stork LTS6, Marcinkiewicz E13(Chuck Findley model) Giardinelli 7C, Denis Wick gold-plated 3C, and a Greg Black 5M. All of these mouthpieces are in excellent condition with smooth rims and round shanks. The reason I'm selling these together is that they all have been slightly modified- the shanks have been shaved down a little to fit into the trumpet receiver a little bit more to decrease the gap between the end of the mouthpiece and the start of the leadpipe. Please be aware that these mouthpieces are going to go into your receiver a little farther so they will not work well with most trumpets. Only those that have a large gap. Besson 600 Cornet Contains 1X cornet 1X Besson size 7 mouth piece 1X Denis Wick precision mute Original case Cornet in near perfect condition. Only 1X mark, which is located next to the etching on the bell(pin prick sized dent see pic) can only be seen very close up. Caused by removal of marching stand(see pic) I have also managed to find an even smaller mark, which cant be seen on a camera its that small. Its located on the inside of a the tube nearest the mouth piece in the case. Other than that its in perfect condition. It has always been polished and serviced a regular intervals ensuring valves and pipes receive the necessary oil/vaseline. A further service will be done prior to sale. Case is in overall good condition but could do with a little TLC. The mute works fine however the opening. Which sits in Cornet is a little mis shaped so ... morehas seen better days. Due to the type of item I would prefer cash on collection or if you are a trader in brass instruments please make alternate contact to discuss options. This Denis Wick Euphonium Practice Mute is extremely useful for both quiet practicing. And as advertised, improving tone by playing loudly in the low range. I have found this mute extremely beneficial, and am selling it only because I no longer live in an apartment, in which I was required to practice quietly. The mute is light, and very durable, unlike the aluminum straight mute. Personally I give this mute an 8.5/10, as it is the best practice mute I have seen yet. The intonation is much better than any other mute I have used, though it is not perfect. However, the amount of control, and ability to blow freely with minimal resistance is great! Here is a vintage miner's oil wick lamp from over 100 years ago! This used lamp is lightly stamped with an oval on the side: FRED B. ZAIS" over"FROSTBURG. MD" with"1876" in the middle. Some of the stamping is not legible. Lamp stands 2 3/4" to the hinge and has no holes or cracks. A little shallow denting on the spout, evidence of some residue inside but no visible rust. Antique Clear Pressed Glass/Brass Whale Oil Lamp Only With Snuffers and Wick
This is. I believe, a lamp intended to be used to burn whale oil. The wick is unburned, so I don't think it was ever put to use. The screw on cap, snuffers, and two wick holders are brass, with a knurled top edge on the cap to enhance one's grip when refilling the glass vessel. The cap and two wick holders are 2" high. The glass vessel is 3" high with a protruding 1" long ground glass stub. The device in is excellent condition with no chips or dings. There are some light scratches on the glass. There is an obvious lack of whaling here in Colorado. So where did this come from? Well, it's part of my parents estate. A Stunning Old Islamic Silver Oil Lamp with a Wick. This silver lamp is made essentially of two parts: the lower is an oil receptacle and the upper part is a chimney. Both oil receptacle and chimney are highly decorated in different floral arabesque designs. The lower part contains a mechanism for the wick from Egypt. The oil lamp has a back hook for hanging. The total height is 15 inches and width at its widest section is about 4.5 inches. It weighs I pound and slightly over 7 ounces(658 grams) The oil lamp is stamped twice. With the number 90[meaning 90% silver] The stamps can be found on chimney and on the oil receptacle. It is also stamped with a different stamp at the bottom of oil receptacle. This stamp reads from left to right: 90[meaning 90% A lotus flower[most likely the trade mark of the maker] and Arabic letter"th" probably ... morethe name of the maker. Probably. 70 years old. I am selling a Vintage 1940's-1950's forest green vintage Storage Hassock from Pearl-Wick. It is in excellent condition. It is a solid sturdy piece and the seat is cushioned. Bring back memories with this original Pearl-Wick Hassock from the early 1900's. It is in near perfect condition for an original item of this age. I purchased it at an auction several years ago and never found a use for it and it is in the original condition from when I bought it. I have not tried cleaning it yet and there is a little bit of rust on the inside that is not visible when shut. The label is torn as you can see in the photo. Perfect gift for parents. Grand parents etc. Due to its age it is not"child friendly" and care should be taken when little fingers(or big fingers) are lifting and shutting the lid. 1893 Original Georg Haller Kerosene Ottensen Hamburg THREE Wick Stove WOW! What a fantastic find. After research and figuring was this was it has quite some history. Many people in europe had to travel to find work during the turn of the century. They needed a cook stove that was made very well and portable. This is cast iron and enamel. Some had one two. Three and a few four burners. They ran on kerosene. They all mainly used the same size wick. This has the remains of a old wick. The bottom pan for the kerosene is in fantastic shape. It has rust drippings from the iron parts that will really clean up. The upper enamel cook pan has one small round scrape on the side as shown, rest in fantaastic shape. The cast iron has rust and after cleaning up it would be a super terrific show-piece. On the bottom grate it is broken through about 1/4 of ... morea inch. It also has a extra ring on the inside that I read was used for smaller pots. Only 118 years old! The research states the early 1900's, but this is earlier than that. It is quite ornate also, not like some of the others I saw. I also thought the hole on the side needed another part to be attached. It probably had a plug, but is suppose to be there as a venting hole. It is a real history treasure. A real heavy piece, will take ectra packaging to avoid anything getiing bent and will be insured.
